Thought I'd throw my current team/structure up for some discussion:

Happy enough with the structure, but always appreciate any good feedback and thoughts.
Nice team, I have 17 of the same players so hopefully we are both going a good direction. The Community Series will provide more clues about this seasons team structures and like everyone we will need to adjust the teams based on who is actually playing in round one.

First full rejig after losing Preuss and Marshall:

Doesn't seem like a bad holding position for now, with a little flexibility to shuffle things around as the preseason progresses.

Might be a bit skinny on midfield rookies but that looks like more of a "watch this space" situation at the moment.

Thoughts?
Jelly with Fyfe is a bold move which will hopefully reap some major points. Was L. Young a place holder or did you think he was going to be playing round one?

Might think twice then. Had a few other options go through at F2.
Certainly don't let my opinions influence your choices/decisions.

You obviously chose him for a reason , been plenty of comments on him by others.

When I look at the team it's a bit more of a balls-in approach in the midfield now that the ruck is more solid (coming from a Grundy-Preuss based structure). I was super bullish on starting Adams coming in as someone who could potentially push into the 115-120 range, but his hammy put an end to that unfortunately.

As an aside this year feels like there's more risk associated with pretty much every option in the top 10-12 midfielders for one reason or another, maybe it's just me but there are question marks everywhere in terms of who to start.

Lachie Young is a bit more placeholder than anything at the moment to set up the DEF-MID swing with Laird - initially I had him in mind on the basis that North must have gone out of their way to pinch him from the Bulldogs for a reason, but he's not really stamping himself as a round 1 starter at this point. There are obviously a lot of potential options in either direction cash wise so he probably wont be in my final team, unless something happens over the next 6 weeks and he somehow forces his way in.

I'm not completely satisfied but something like this might work.

I've even been contemplating dropping my 0 over 30 policy to open up Dusty and Danger as options but even if I do, I think Danger is still better as an upgrade target and Dusty is 50/50 either way.

Different reports on Titch too so it's hard to put him in. I've got 0 $102k rookies so it'll be easier to trade down if required. Rowell, Heeney, Docherty and Impey are probably just below extreme mpm risk so hopefully the starting structure is solid enough.

Josh Treacy can potentially replace a rookie on almost any line with DPP shifting; whether he plays or not. Alternatively, he could potentially come in later down the line, perhaps in the same week that Marshall comes in to the side, by which time Flynn would potentially have fattened out.

Just spent ages playing around with my team and have almost the same team.

I think this is the first team I have seen with Rankine as F1. I don't mind it.

Possibly not enough Carlton players.
Rankine with another preseason under his belt and a bit of mid rotation should go ok, think he can average 85. Mckay another with a full preseason should get some quality pill coming into the forward line
