Hello!!!!
I am new to supercoach and just want some advice on my team. Please let me know any advice, i dont really know what im doing! I have roughly 10k left in the bank
welcome.
My Sugestions. Your running to many loops.

Paulo and TKO great selections but it leaves your bench players short.

Suggest you flip a coin and remove one of the starting forwards for a Lodge or Hetherington type Frees up some cash. Move James into the 2RF and bring in Leniu (Penrith) to the FWD Line.

2RF you need Rikki from the Broncos will start on field and play big minutes. And also consider B.Smith from the Storm. With Grant out should give you good returns and make cash early.

CTW move Laurie on field as he is playing full back. You should have enough coin to bring Saab (manly) into the CTW, and to upgrade your other loop in the CTW line.

Keep walker in the halves real good chance he plays early.

Good luck.

alrighty! only hours to go...

Here's what I'm thinking

Watson / Liddle*
TKO, Lodge / Faamausili, Uto
Gus, Matto, Tino / Cheese*, Riki*, Fui
Cleary / SWalker
Calker / Lam
Capewell, Staines, Nui, Laurie / Fusi, Saab, Simo
Teddy / LM*

I decided on TKO instead of Welch to save me a trade...
Thoughts please

Good luck to all for the upcoming season.

Capewell and Tino have forced their way into my side late. I have enough cash to grab C Walker (via C Watson) but a bit hesitant to pay up for both of the top 5/8 and HFB's and I prefer Munster over Walker but have cooled off on Munster from earlier in the preseason.

Also, thoughts on the below combinations:
1. D Cook, L Lam, M Morgan, S Leniu and J Roberts
or
2. B Smith, J Hodgson, S Walker, TKO and J Saab

2 allows Moylan to be outside of my 17 for the opening round with TKO, J Hodgson and B Smith replacing D Cook, M Morgan and M Moylan in my 17.

Welcome @Jakekyrialexander and good luck for the upcoming season.

I agree with @Vicwood about reducing the amount of non playing players as this is vital in ensuring your cash generation keeps ticking over allowing you to grab premiums/guns quicker, rather than continually sideways trading to free up cash.

I would drop Barnett to Tino to free up approximately $40,000 to then use on upgrading Anderson to Leniu by moving James back to the 2RF position. Then trade Cook to J Hodgson freeing up around $240,000 to use to turn McGrady, Trbojevic and Sualli into Riki, Roberts and Saab. If selecting Hodgson does not allow those rookie trades (dependent on your remaining salary) then Brailey and Lam should both be great alternatives.

Resisted the urge to change.

Players involved tonight are D Cook, R Papenhuyzen and C Welch

Not a bad start for me after a quiet-ish start yesterday with Brandon Smith and Welch going fairly average.

Klemmer, Pearce (VC), Brailey and Watson (didn’t check teams until nearly half time) all on field for me. Fingers crossed the next match is as kind with Riki and Lodge scoring for me.

What would you have done with Watson had you have known earlier?

We are all happy with 52 from Watson, though?

I did the panick, then I did the research (posted earlier) and then I rested easy (and crossed fingers)
I’m glad to have held on. Although Mann getting injured may actually be really bad for Watson’s scores the next couple games until Ponga is back. Watson potentially goes to 5/8 and will reduce his runs and tackles.

However, Hoy likely goes to 5/8 when Ponga is back and Watson keeps a spot in the forwards which long term is a good thing.

I now have Lodge’s injury to worry about so will be looking for a FRF cheapie to stand up this weekend.
