Ended up 1209. Pretty happy with that considering I did my team very late after I saw teamlists out. Will be curious to see how it pans out compared to the top teams around. Best I’ve seen so far is 1318.
Looks to be some large scores out there. I'm thinking with the new rules it's going to be similar each week.

1376 C Teddy at the moment for me - which I'm very happy with. Only have Lodge and Angus to deal with

I'm sitting 4th in one of my leagues, one team is on 1445

Snuck into the top 1000.
The problem is, this'll be my first full year.

I actually don't know the strategies.
I'm thinking with 37 trades
12 for the last 6 rounds
6-8 for origin
Leaves about 17, say 14 before origin, 3 after?

$$$ required for Guns
First moves Rd 3

So thinking spend 2-4 trades now get money makers before RD3?

Then maybe 2 every twoish rounds or so.

All thoughts would be helpful

Disappointing performance from Cook and Lodge whilst a couple of low scores from the cheap CTW players are always expected. Fantastic start from B Ferguson along with Captain Teddy, Papenhuyzen, Cleary, Crichton and Capewell.

Current trades are:
Out: M Lodge and L Lam
In: B Afoa and J Brailey

Grabbing Afoa or another FRF/2RF dual position player allows Tino or James to play at the 2nd FRF position. Liddle instead of Brailey and I Papali'i is another alternative under strong consideration. If Crichton misses through suspension, then Capewell will come on field and Morgan will replace Crichton in the playing 17.

Also you have bye round's 13 and 17 where it's still 17 scoring.
Super trade week (5 trades) is after 15 and kicks in 16.
So you have to make sure leading up to 13 you have a minimum 17 scorers.

Do you think Afoa will be a slow burn or quick flip? I missed the game to watch him?

No clue. Could grab T Merrin instead to serve the same purpose of allowing Tino or R James to become the 2nd FRF or a single trade of Lodge to J Ofahengaue allowing me to assess a Lam to Liddle trade for another round.

Looking at Crichton on the bench is making me nervous. Might make an early shark move and replace with Barnett .....then Matto next week back to Crichton.

Didn’t like Matto game against the Broncos.?

Other trade Saab to Mead.

Strategy is different compared to AFL.

You can get 20-22 guns pretty comfortably. Quite often the winners have only had 1-2 trades for the remaining 4-5 rounds - riding depth on the way home.

Trade hard early to first get the cash generators then the underpriced/dropped guns.

I’d only expect to only save a few trades (2-5) over the first 10 rounds to achieve that.

Matto did basically nothing all game and got 67. SC royalty right there. Crichton and Matto will be number 1 and 2 easily. If you trade them out I’d be planning a way back to them very quickly.

Rain is going to mean low scores likely all weekend, so not be worst weekend to be without a gun.
