My thought on trading Zorko, is that he misses the next 2 games, has close to topped out at over 600k, with Neil back in the team, I think he drops points and $$$. Trading him to another forward, pockets $100k +
And plus we have been gifted an extra trade this week.
Zorko's breakeven is 76, so he is going to increase in price if anything.

I just don't see the benefit of this trade - no other forward is close to matching his scoring right now. Even if he drops points with Neale in the side, he could still be a top 2 forward!

Does it matter if he finishes top 2 forward on average if he only goes lets say 100 ppg for the rest of the season and the bloke you bring in makes you some cash and also scores 200+ points for you in the period where Zorko isn't scoring anything?

Yeah I don't think Zorko will average 100ppg though - I think its more likely 105-115 on the run home.

He traditionally finishes the season strong and it's clear now that injury was the reason for his limited output last season.

I also tend to believe the inclusion of Neale will more likely affect McCluggage and Lyons, rather than Zorko.

You can go Zorko to someone like Hall for example, pocket $100k, have someone who is actually playing the next two weeks and with the cash injection, facilitate another upgrade of a rookie to a premo this week, so essentially you're gaining two extra playing premos this round. If going for overall, it's a decent strategy to maximize points production over a period where you're not getting any production from $600k for two weeks (especially relevant for round 14 where an extra playing premo could be the difference between that score and a 0).
Isn't it essentially just one extra premo if everyone else can use those same 2 trades to do a traditional 1 up/1 down to bring in an extra premium instead?

How many trades is everyone hoping to have left after completing all upgrades? Is only 1 trade left for injury/suspension cutting it too fine...?
I'm looking at being done with five to go in two weeks time barring any injury setbacks.

Of course that team will include Taranto, Cerra, Daniel and Daniher so maybe "done" isn't the right word :)
