There is obviously a big difference between AFL SC, and BBL SC, and that last over highlights the biggest difference.
Zampa got 6 points for that over. 1 for a dot ball, 5 for dropping his ER from just above 8, to just below 8.
If this was AFL SC, Zampa would have scored around 30 points for that over. And deserved them!!!!

Please enlighten me, Sams has 108 points from the first two games of this series. Is an average of 54 per game really a bad result? After so many disappointments in so many popularly selected players this round and last?
At over 200k, a 1 in his system is going to be proper crap for his price. Whilst we have 108 points across two games now, it can quickly turn into a lower than 50 average over 3-4 games.

Sure a lot of other popular players have flopped, but none of them are 200k+ like Sams.

Let’s not sell him short, that was like Pavs 107 point final quarter in 2012😉

This is the kind of stuff I was talking about with Zampa - his role is arguably even better than the average spinner because he gets big overs that even the likes of Rashid don't get.

Incidentally, I think SC have given him an extra 20 - I think Clarke going off like a headless chicken after the last ball conned them that it was actually a wicket! (That'll surely be fixed in a minute.)

@Pookus McFly

Not sure if you got a answer for your question the other night.

Qais first game for the Hurricanes in BBL09 was in Alice Springs

4-0-12-4 , 180 SC points

I enter scores on a piece of paper manually and am old with poor eyesight , but on my sheet of paper I have the following scores :-

41 , 42 , - 1 , 43 , 35 , 35 , 47 , 44 , 0 , 26 , 52 , 6 , 4
exceptional research Herbie, even morseo for the oldskool system. This is precisely how I remember it. I brought him in after round 1 where he looked unbeatable and he played in my XI damn near most of the season. You never forget a grift of that magnitude.

I remember last season, or the season before, Sams was facing a BE of around 120. I thought I'd wait a game or two, and pick him up cheap. Yep, he beat his BE!!!

He's owned by 35% of Coaches. All this has done is 2 things. Made it probably a little cheaper for those committed to getting him. Or put doubt in the mind of those not committed.
