One trade to go this round and am tossing up whether to move on curran or phillipe... curran is bound to lose money where phillipe has a bit more to go i think.

With a rolling lockout its largely useless anyway, especially when sides can name as many as 17 players

Two of Handscomb, Jewell or Thompson are going to be unlucky you would think.

Surely they just drop Rogers in all honesty, Thompson,Short and David are more than capable bowlers to get 4 overs done behind Boland,Paris,Lamichhane and Ellis.

Yeah that’s entirely possible but Rogers has been pretty good with the ball. 3 wickets in his first match. Would be stiff to get dropped.

With that same team set up you’re suggesting, Paris would also get dropped once Meredith returns which would also be incredibly stiff.

That complicates my plans a bit, was counting on him missing at least a couple more rounds.

He essentially got his opportunity because Brook & McDermott were missing , so probably is their 7th batsmen.

Given Brook & McDermott are now available they both play.

Possibly but highly unlikely that Wade , Short , Handscomb or David lose their spot.

I guess they could play 7-4 and rely on David/Short to be the 5th bowler.

Brook could well be another Jacks

They could also rotate 7 into 6 each match depending on matchups , opposition & venue

Ive anticipated Paris falling out of the side all along but hes bowling well enough that they likely find a way to fit him in, worst case scenario hell be 100k and have done his job anyway.

I have never seen Thompson play , is he more a batsmen (Top 6) who bowls or a bowler who bats ?

Given the lengths they went to get Paris you think he plays.

Boland , Ellis , Lamichhanne , Meredith , Paris when all available.

Doubt David , McDermott , Short , Wade are getting dropped.

If you are not playing OS players then serious questions should be asked about your cricket department , so Brook & Thompson make the XI.

Handscomb could very well be the one that eventually misses out.

Thompson seems a odd signing to me given who they already had on their list.

Seems a neither here nor their type of player.

Well they’ve already dropped Lammonby, so I don’t think they’ll have any qualms dropping Thompson.

Lammonby was a replacement he was always dropped once Brook and Thompson were back, personally would be astounded if they omitted either of Brook and Thompson.

I'm starting to lean towards trading out M. Short and holding Garton, whoever I keep has to start next week and although I miss some rises from Short I think Garton is potentially a keeper, his role is so good and I don't see much changing. I'm normally not adverse to forgoing cash for points but don't have much growth at the moment which is a worry, may toss a coin on it lol

Their side is stacked really and have boosted it with two blokes who can explode in the back half of an innings havent got any excuses this year
