I think I’m going Marsh over Wade.

Wade averages far worse when batting second, and I can’t see myself really regretting trading Nielsen, whereas Garton is a trade out I could regret.

Otherwise I reckon they’re hard to split!

Let’s go Mitch 🙂

He essentially got his opportunity because Brook & McDermott were missing , so probably is their 7th batsmen.

Given Brook & McDermott are now available they both play.

Possibly but highly unlikely that Wade , Short , Handscomb or David lose their spot.

I guess they could play 7-4 and rely on David/Short to be the 5th bowler.

Brook could well be another Jacks

They could also rotate 7 into 6 each match depending on matchups , opposition & venue
Thought Jewell would miss in all honesty , but did flag they could play 7-4 🤗

Also thought they would play their 3 OS but that's their cricket departments problem 😀

Wade: “hopefully we get a good start and we can use the X factor”.

Interesting approach, I see it as more of a backup option.

Debating final trade between MMarsh and Munro.

Cash generation says get Munro now and pick up MMarsh next week, but MMarsh will almost certainly be a better scorer long-term.

If I miss Munro this week, I've missed the boat for his DGR next week.

Hatz picked over Kelly a surprise but with Mills now in the team he takes over as the Scorchers death bowler along with Tye.

Banners & Hardie were always the most likely to make way for when Inglis & Marsh returned, Patterson in such great form in the first game I think made it very hard to leave him out/ deserves a chance at the top of the order.

Unless you like Munro’s matchups tonight/in the DGR, I’d be fairly comfortable passing on him. I’d have Marsh, Inglis and Tye ahead of him at a minimum.

Munro does do better batting first though:
