522 with Harris to go - hopefully can end the third NFL season for me on a high next week. 116th at the moment, hopefully head back up after tomorrow

This weekend coming - 2 trades and 0.7m in the bank for some random trades just for fun 😎

...not as impressive I know. Well done to you both on a great first season.
577, up 26 spots to 90th. Great score from Harris to finish off for a lot of us. :)

Would like to echo the sentiments of @kennychao in thanking everyone in the NFL group for the support and advice provided to newbies like @kennychao and myself and for the general sense of camaraderie within this group.

I found the same with the SCS F1 group this year and am always amazed at the level of knowledge that some members have with respect to these sports and their willingness to share their knowledge and their time for the benefit of all members. I had never watched a game of NFL before this season started (still haven’t ever watched a full game) but feel like the knowledge shared by this group at least gave me a chance to be competitive (in a fantasy context) - still have absolutely no idea about the nuances (or likely even many of the basic aspects) of the real game! 🤣

I would strongly encourage anyone who might be contemplating joining this group next year (and even those who might not be!) 😁 not to hesitate in doing so. I almost didn‘t join this season due to my absolute lack of understanding with respect to anything NFL related but was encouraged by the knowledge that there would be plenty of support from SCS members and I most certainly was not disappointed! It’s been fantastic fun and I’ll definitely be back for another crack next year - with the full expectation that I’ll finish somewhere well outside of the top 1,000! 😉

Thanks again to everyone and best of luck with achieving as high a rank as possible this year and also with planning your team for next year.
Just want to take the opportunity to 2nd this - my second season playing this comp & absolutely loved it.
Much of that has come from the amazing group of people on this forum with so much knowledge- @Rupert I thoroughly enjoy your posts, so much quality info
@Professor - you are the social media king with the amount of content you pass on

Going to make a special mention to my main trade advice guy @Connoisseur who has been invaluable in my ability to learn the game quickly.

Thanks guys, another thoroughly enjoyable season with 1 week to go, managed to win a Super Bowl in one of the leagues which I am pleasantly surprised about & can’t wait for next season (y)

463 for me, got flogged in all Super Bowls I was in.
Slid 50 ranks to 168 but had a great time, like this format.
My 2 trades this week were my No, No Mav, thats not a good idea moment for the season and played out that way lol

Well played boys and see you next year.

Congratulations to all the SuperBowl winners.

Unfortunately for me, I lost all my 4 Finals, 3 of my opponents had Chase playing. Captained Chubb in desperation to win a final, hoping he could score 51, like last week, but he only got 11. The gamble contributed to my -21 drop in ranking to 71.

2nd week in a row that my bench has out scored my starting players :(.
WRs - Diggs 15, Hill 14, Jefferson 17 & Bench - St.Brown 58, Chase 100
K - Kittle 7 & Bench - Pitts 15
(Hill and Chase were the 2 that I was most tossing up, so I trusted the 'Experts').

I used up my last trade to get a non-playing Captain Loop, as my original Captain loop was a non-playing Rams player, whose game was shifted last week to the useless Monday 5am slot. All my other players played.

I'm well stocked up with players for next week, so hopefully I will be able to climb up in the ranking to finish the season.

Overall, this NFL season was a great ride for me, the best I have done and I still consider myself a Novice with lots more to learn.

I joined the 'NFL 7plus Fantasy Challenge', but it is way too complicated for me. The proof is that I won $500 for top scoring one week, you see, I obviously didn't have the popular selections that week, as I have no idea who are the most popular 'Rushing Offence', 'Passing Offence' or 'Special Teams', pure luck!

Best of all, was this NFL Forum Group that I enjoyed so much. (y) Looking forward to playing in the next NFL season.

I know this sounds silly but I got to ask, surely we can organise a SCS NFL fantasy (draft) league on Sleeper (app) or something for the regulars on here?

I’ve used it first time this year for NFL & now NBA and honestly hands down probably one of the best fantasy apps / layouts I’ve used for any sport

If anyone is currently in any Sleeper leagues please back me up here 😂

I have never tried playing in a Draft League, but I am prepared to have a go if one is organised here.

Yep. I'd be in that. I'd go for a keeper league too.
My only concern:
I have an old phone, i5, which I only use for emergency phone calls. It's a pre-paid and way too expensive for anything else.
So the draft platform would have to be accessible on lap top - running Windows 7.

[Hey, it's an old lap top but a perfectly serviceable 18.5in Toshiba which I don't intend to replace until I absolutely have to. Any decent replacement is going to cost and I'd rather defer that cost as long as I can.]

Similar to you @Rupert, but I was forced to upgrade. A couple of years ago my PC died, so now I have a Windows10 PC, but I refuse to upgrade it to Windows 11, because there is no guarantee that my old programs will work with it.
A month ago my Pixi 3G mobile phone started playing up, so I got a mid-range Smart Phone, which I mainly use for emergencies purposes as well (and QR coding). I have a pre-paid Aldi's $15 a year plan (Aldi uses Telstra, which is the only service that I can get at my place). My brother said that I have finally got out of the Stone Age :).

If there are any issues, I wouldn't mind being a dual-coach, or your assitant coach.

Bad luck in the SCS NFL 8 Super Bowl but congratulations for the $500 received for the weekly win in the NFL 7Plus Fantasy Challenege. I have thoroughly enjoyed your contributions and tracking your progress once again this season and good luck for next season.

Sleeper you can draft your team off web / laptop - but it’s interface is best appreciated / enjoyed via the app 😢😭

Thanks Bermi. I should be OK. I've checked out the Sleeper site and there should be no issues.
Worst comes to worst I could always pay $125 and get a new Android phone from Telstra.

If you've never played draft - it's fun.
Just the fact that you would be the only coach with Henry, or Taylor, or Kupp, tends to make it more personal. And, at times, painful as when your A1 RB gets injured and misses the rest of the season!

The pain when you pick D Henry with Pick 4 looking like an absolute steal only for him to go down with injury 🥲

I've tried to organise a draft, without success, for the last 4 or 5 seasons. I did manage to get one up about 6 years ago, but it was a massive trial to fill. People pulled out at the last minute and I had to stay up all night whilst I was in Nashville to actually get it over the line.

I was only in 14 draft leagues this season, so plenty of room for more.

I'm definitely up for a re-draft and/or keeper league on whatever platform.

In the past I've never had the time to do any proper research until about a week before the season starts.
Plus, I'd been a fan but never paid attention to the fantasy side of things.

Now, after 4 years of RDT fantasy I think I'm ready for draft.
I still don't have the depth of knowledge I think you need but........
