Score: 602
Rd Rank: 49
Overall Rank: 100 (from 141)

Victorious in the two super bowls I qualified for and perhaps the previous round I should not have eaten a TE donut in the several close matchups:rolleyes:. Great performance by all squad members, especially by D Adams as captain and J Chase combining for 200 points. One trade left to avoid a donut and hopefully I can hold onto my ranking within the top 100.

Current trades:

Sleeper app gives the functionality to create 2022 leagues already. So I’ve created a SCS league for us 🤠

For those interested (and committed) - please join league via this link - https://sleeper.app/i/Q0OqzMV4Mj8g & enjoy a play around with the mock draft / overall interface, it’s pretty good!
ok thank you all, I'm in.

Adjusted after further thought. And with apologies to the Vikings. And to @Connoisseur and @Professor

I don't understand coaches #54, 231:
Minnesota are out of the play-o*** with a 7-9 record. Even if they finish 8-9 they will still miss out by one game.
What I don't understand is how they use D Cook.
In wk.s 14-15 they beat Chicago and Pittsburgh and Cook's role?
v Chicago: 28 carries, 3 targets; v Pittsburgh: 27 carries, 3 targets

Cook didn't play in wk.16. I mis-read Cousins' runs as Cook's.

In wk. 17 they lost to the Packers and Cook's role?
9 carries and 3 targets.
I thought this was bad until I delved deeper.
Until the Packers went 20-3 up the Vikings plays were 7 runs and 8 passes. After that they rarely ran the ball.

I have found this game to be as frustrating as anything lately, there is just so much luck to contend with.

Last week with 4 trades left I luxury traded Chase to Deebo Samuel and Chase scored 100!

I'm still going okay and sitting at rank 104 overall and if there's no covid issues I will trade Adams back to Chase and Pitts to Kittle with my last trades.

How has everyone else found it lately?

Can agree with this and almost as frustrating as BBL SuperCoach which I’ve almost thrown the towel in on.

Thinking the way of the world at the moment with Covid affecting player availability is a nightmare for fantasy players.

As much as COVID is a pain in the bum right now, we were fortunate enough to have gotten through the majority of the season before Omicron decided to give us a solid whack

Also like to point out, NFL being located over a weekend period is a lot easier to manage compared to the NBA just up the road right now. The COVID protocols screw over accumulative score weeks pretty bad for the NBA format

Chase wont have Burrow throwing to him, just be cautious on that move.

I can't agree with you more!!!
I aired my frustrations in posts above, mainly I was trusting the 'Media Experts' to guide me and they failed me badly. One example, last week, I tossed up starting Chase or Hill (who was knocked about physically by Covid). Logic told me start Chase, but the many, many NFL Fantasy websites rated Hill way above Chase, in 'Who should I start?', 'Week 17 WR Rankings', 'Projections', 'Start/Sit Assistance', etc.

Covid has been a nuisance, but I kept reminding myself that it affected all Fantasy Coaches, not just me.

If I had a choice to play Fantasy Sport with the nuisance of Covid, or not play at all, then I would choose playing with Covid.

The sad thing is that the experts really are experts. Hard to believe, I know, but true.
The 70-odd experts that FantasyPros use to produce their ECR weekly rankings are people who are, as far as I know, full-time fantasy analysts, not just football journalists/commentators.
For example, I regularly listen to and read fantasy content from 6 different sites. There are at least 22 people who are involved full-time in producing that content. If they aren't fantasy experts then no-one is.
5 from ESPN: Matthew Berry, Field Yates, Stephania Bell, Mike Clay and Daniel Dopp - note Berry has been producing fantasy content for about 20 yrs
4 from CBS: Adam Aizer, Jamey Eisenberg, Dave Richard and Heath Cumming
3 from FantasyFootballers: Andy, Jason and Mike
4 from FantasyPros: Joe, Dan, Kyle and Pat
2 from NFL Fantasy: Marcas Grant and Michael Florio + guests
4 from NBC SportsEdge: Matt Stroup, RotoPat, John Daigle, and Denny Carter + guests

Alternatively, just consider some of the surprising results this year:
Packers loose 3-39 to the Saints in wk.01 and are now 13-3 while the Saints are 8=8
Bills lose 6-9 to the Jaguars who have only won one other game
Cardinals lose 12-30 to the Lions who are ranked last in the NFC
With results like these, is it any wonder the experts can get it wrong?

I'm starting to think that these Experts base their analysis mainly on statistics only and ignore other outside factors, like a players health status, or a team missing key players.

I feel that these Experts base their rankings on the premise that 'if all things are equal' then this is what we expect to happen. But there are other factors that influence a players performance on field. A lot of these factors can be the players health, a Team's strategy on the day, etc.

I know it is hard for the Experts to know a lot of the 'other factors', because the NFL Teams don't let the public know exactly what is going on in the Club (and rightly so), but some information are released by the Clubs, that I don't think the Experts are taking that into consideration when they suggest rankings.

I do respect the Experts rankings, but I will take other factors more into consideration in the future.
