I think the second option likely scores more points. But if it means cashing out Hayes now, probably 100k short of his peak, that would make it not worth it. But if it's just a question about points on field, I prefer Rowell and Darcy.
Yeah is just purely points on field. SHayes would move to R3 if I bring Darcy in but bringing Macrae in means I'm trading Rowell.

Lloyd @ $488k

Or

Zorko @ $522k
DEF is a hard line to call this year. Zorko seems more up and down, higher ceiling, lower floor, with a few scores you don't want to cop. Lloyd is not hitting last year's numbers, and not quite scoring at keeper level either.

I'd probably prefer Lloyd if picking one of the two, as there's less cash invested if you pick a failed keeper. Probably neither though.

On the non R12 defenders, two things I spotted/thought of:

Pendles could potentially play more mid time as the season progresses if some of our less proven mids fade.

Dawson plays WC and North twice each yet, with a game against GC. This isn’t always positive for def scoring, but I suspect it is for him if he’s spending some time up the ground as well.

Touk for me if cost is not a major concern. Any should be a good pick.
No, I've got the cash, and don't want to scrimp. Grabbing Touk cuts out a negative POD, and has a better bye for me, Parish I'd love to get as a genuine POD, but bad bye. Might target him for my last mid upgrade after his bye. Thanks.

Rank the following rookies best to worst…

Cooper Hamilton, Luke Cleary, Jack Carroll & Buku Khamis.
Carroll, Hamilton, Cleary then Khamis.
I agree with Tamuhawk here. Little bit of uncertainty on Carroll's role with Hewett back, which might switch the top two, but he definitely has the potential.

At this point I've brought in Clark in this week. I wonder if it would be better to bring in Hamilton or Carroll this week, and Clark next when he's on his bubble.

Hamilton's price and DP status makes him attractive, I'm just unsure about his JS, which has seemed to be the general consensus. Actually I though he was M/D when he is M/F so not so much of a difference. I'm set for M/F link but losing D/M link.

I had though Rioli was pretty highly considered, but I'm seeing doubt over both scoring and JS. Is Carroll the better choice?
