I prefer Owens over Teakle this week. At least you can count on Owens playing in Round 13.
Yeah he looks a great option for non-owners.

Very kindly he’s been an excellent loophole option and found his way back into the senior side at exactly the right time for owners since round 1 like me.

Culley as a mid/fwd could potentially be a very handy R14 trade-in if named.
Fingers crossed he has a blinder of a first game in the WAFL next weekend.

Apparently he's flying to Adelaide to meet the boys this weekend, will fly back to Perth and train for a week before debuting in the WAFL next weekend... then hopefully straight into the senior's, lol

Not that it matters a lot, why is jye menzie listed as a mid? I'm sure he has played forward all year with maybe a tiny pinch of mid. In contrast Carmichael is listed as a m/f when he has been mainly a mid with a small amount forward. Oh well.

What are the chances of a 3rd playing downgrade option emerging next week in addition to Owens & Wehr?

I’m trying to decide whether I should grab Sam Butler now (still just 137K) or take a chance that a new, cheaper rookie will be named for Round 13…

Fyfe in for Meek, Lobb becomes the back up ruck, Darcy main ruck for 80% of the game is what I am hoping for yesterday’s debacle… 😔
Yeah, I originally pencilled Darcy in as captain which was a disaster avoided when Oliver put up a decent number. I'm with you and just want to see that structure you mentioned for the rest of the season.

It's also pretty crazy Ely Smith still hasn't debuted after being a first round pick with Walsh & Bailey Smith in the 2018 super draft...
It's pretty crazy that the pick 21 from that year is still being mentioned in the same sentence as picks 1 and 7. :D

But more seriously, he was an up-side pick taken after the reliable options gone and he really hasn't shown anything that he'd meet the hoped for upside so has been overtaken by plenty.

Yeah fair enough, it wasn't a knock. I've just always been fascinated by first round picks that have been around for awhile but we still haven't seen for whatever reason...
