I'd say it's completed... even with players like Brodie, Butters and Coniglio. They've all shown they could be keepers this year.

Here goes:
B: Sicily, Hewett, Docherty, Short, Houston, Dale (McCartin, Wehr)
M: Oliver, Neale, Miller, Macrae, Petracca, Cripps, Parker, Mitchell (Whitfield, Carroll, Owens)
R: Witts, Darcy (Teakle)
F: Dunkley, Brodie, Treloar, Butters, Coniglio, Heeney (Butler, Hollands)

6 trades left and 97k

Considering trading away mccartin to get a mid in eventually. For now that will probably be it.

Pretty happy with this side.

Defence:
No Stewart but at over 600k probably more sensible not to get him.

Midfield.
Not as happy here with Zerrett & Petracca. Had the option to pick Mills over Petracca the round he went 200+. That decision obviously did not work out. And again had the option to skip Zerrett to grab Mills but chose Zerrett for the cheaper price.

Rucks:
Happy here with the Gitts combo. 🤣

Fwd:
Not happy with Butters there but can't do too much about it now. Good to have been able to keep McCartin as cover. A lack of more Bulldogs players could hurt me down the track especially with no Bont.

Identical on field side to me but you have Parker and I have Bont. McCartin also a handy hold

Could have had it done with 9 trades remaining this week, but pulled the trigger on Petracca/Carroll > Miller/D'Ambrosio which not only gets me 18 on field this week but also makes my team better IMO.

Missing Stewart and Mills, but stoked with the bench cover I have been able to keep (SDK/Hobbs).

Edit: Swap out Gawn for Witts, team done Rd15

Stewart, Hewett, Crisp, Short, Rich, Whitfield (Wehr, Parnell)
Oliver, Neale, Laird, Walsh, Macrae, Miller, Cripps, Petracca (Rozee, Owens, Clarke)
English, Darcy (Teakle)
Bont, Dunkley, Parker, Libba, Coniglio, Butters (Curtis, Culley)

Finished my team with Walsh last week with 7 trades left. Couple of luxury upgrades this week with Bont and Libba coming in.

Gawn out means I can technically be complete with Jackson... Would look like this:

DEF: Stewart, Sinclair, Hewett, Crisp, Short, Swallow
MID: Oliver, Neale, Kelly, Laird, Macrae, Miller, Merrett, Petracca
RUC: English, Darcy
FWD: Bontempelli, Dunkley, Brodie, Parker, Coniglio, Jackson

5 trades remaining, got decent cash cows in Hobbs and Clark still to try and get a decent 23rd option.

After burning 2 trades this week, left with 4 trades left

Dusty and Brodie out
Bont and Whitfield in

Stewart Short Ridley Whitfield Houston Brayshaw / SDK Cleary
Oliver Neale Macrae Cripps Crisp Boak Bontempelli Parker / Clarke Clark Owens
Witts English / J. Williams
Treloar Dunkley Gresham D. Cameron Coniglio Butters / Hobbs Butler

Could of done with Sicily Hewett Dawson Docherty and Sinclair at the Back
Could of done with Mills Laird Jelly and Miller in the Mids
Rucks Happy with what I got
Forwards Happy with what I got I suppose
No Hiccups in the next few weeks Cameron will turn into a Mid with Parker or Bont going to the Forward, might depend on any LTIs I get and when Grundy’s back
Stuck with Butters

Might have 22 this week barring injuries, omissions or something else

Pendlebury over Crisp/Sicily/Stewart continues to be a great selection and continues my streak to now either three of four consecutive seasons of an eventual 500+ point difference between two similarly priced and averaging upgrade targets at time of selection.

Other than that, very happy with the side I have assembled given the trouble with rookies and starting none of Heeney, Cripps and Sicily.

Theoretically finished last round assuming my ruckman (who is the only player in the comp yet to score less than 100) can get back in his side.

Probably my best ever final team and certainly my earliest. I have 9 trades left and will likely target a Mills/Laird/Walsh when the time is right and swing Heeney forward. That might be this week if Preuss is McVeighed again. Decent cover with Coleman, Clark and DPPs.

Darcy my biggest concern outside Preuss especially if Meek is recalled. Gawn’s absence probably mitigates that a bit with reliable rucks a challenge this year. Cameron will need some attention when Grundy returns but the way he is going I will probably make money from that trade.

I got Pendles in when he was the number 5 defender so far and was looking very solid, after that he scored a 97, then crud, crud, crap, and crud...lol, and I'm assuming he'll score crap in 2 weeks time also. I don't envy your position mate of having to replace 2 or 3 players this week. It'll leave you dangerously close to running out and then you're at the mercy of the gods.

Gawn out means I might as well call mine complete once I bring Laird in:

D: Sicily, Sinclair, Hewett, Dawson, Short, Crisp (Wehr, Thompson)
M: Neale, Oliver, Laird, Macrae, Miller, Cripps, Brayshaw, Green (Clark, Clarke, Owens)
R: Witts, English (Comben)
F: Bontempelli, Dunkley, Parker, Brodie, Coniglio, Butters/Himmelberg (Butters/Himmelberg, Rioli)

Nine trades left though... probably continue tinkering, e.g. bringing someone in for Green could be an improvement, or if both Butters and Himmelberg fail maybe Bailey Smith in four weeks.
