Honestly don't know how the commentators can defend Ginnivon there. Took the ball while standing upright and drops low when a tackle comes. They say the defender needs to be better but what is he supposed to do. Aim for the legs so the tackle ends up being around the waist?

Tend to agree with you there, don't think a player should be rewarded for ducking and neither should the tackler be penalised when the tacklee changes the level.

Yep I agree. Honestly, I think if I was his coach I would be telling him if he does it again he will be dropped. Guarantee there will be a lot of his teammates that think its wrong.

No coach is going to tell him that. How it looks is irrelevant, it helps them win games. Same reason they shouldn't be involved in rewriting the rules.
