Vc Macrae or do i roll the dice on Laird?
Personally I like to use a 15-20 point margin as it is not worthwhile chasing a higher captain score for the sake of 10 or less points and you have to be really confident that they will reach or exceed that minimum margin.

R Laird (since move to the midfield in RD9 2020):
120+: 24/45 (2022= 9/14)
143+: 6/45 (2022= 2) (VS Coll= 2)
148+: 4/45 (2022= 1) (VS Coll= 1)

Your choice, 128 is pretty good, no risk locking it in, however, if you're looking for an extra 20 from Laird, does that get you a league win?

Over the past 13 games Laird's lowest score was 105 and his highest score was 156, the average is 131.
Macrae scored 128.
I'm playing the odds and making Macrae Captain. The odds of Laird scoring much higher is low.
Thanks guys, good points
After this info, I'll stick with the safe option

Just hope mills or gawn dont light the field on fire🤞

Bolton beats up on lesser teams but after North this week, he's got Freo, Lions & Port, then good games for the last 2 games!
Heeney throws in too many stinkers to be sure of his output!
I like Taranto but the caveat is apparently with Hopper back in this week may impact him pushing out to the FP ?
All M/F's but these may suit?
Rozee at $520K looks the better option, more $$$ though!
J Anderson at $454K might be an option?
Danger if you can accommodate a MID only option looks like his usual steam train coming approach!
Anderson probably has the best role/draw of the lot if you trust him to actually stay fit, hasnt played a full season in his whole career though, think theres a reasonable chance Taranto and Bolton are sitting in forward pockets dropping 50's, especially Bolton, did it last year and already has 4 scores under 70 this season.

Preuss on 84 AFL Fantasy points at HT in VFL game vs Brisbane - hard decision whether to keep holding or trade for those that have him.
It would make things a bit more interesting if you could use players VFL scores in SC (maybe at 75% of whatever they score). Do you lock in someone like Preuss, playing lower opposition who can score highly or rely on those in the AFL?
