With the first game of the NFL season on Friday 9th September can we draft in a date suitable for @Professor?
Either before the 28th or after the 5th?
Sunday 21st is probably too early - almost 3 weeks out
Tuesday 6th is late - only 2 days out

What about Thursday 25th August? @Manikato1 needs Monday-Thursday
Happy to consider any options, might be able to lock in something whilst away, just depends where I am and if I have an internet connection.

Thursday the 25th is good for me with I'm assuming a 7pm start.

If it gets too hard to get everyone together could always do a slow draft with 12 hours per pick and people can just log on and off as required.

I am happy to go with Thursday Aug 25 and I can work something out to fit in other dates if I need to.

Sounds like we have another spanner in our works (re AUG 28th 7pm) & AUG 21st evening doesn’t work either

I’m now going to suggest a slow draft - 12 hour turns starting August 15th or 22nd (Monday). I know a few of you guys don’t like the idea but this way we don’t have to keep trying to find a time/date that works (this is also beneficial as you will have more time to make your picks)

It also gives us 2.5 weeks in the lead up time - and we can definitively lock in a day and have 3+ full weeks to complete the draft until the start of the season. I’m also open to moving it earlier than the 15th but I also understand some of us prefer to draft closer to the start of the season

If everyone is able to at least do their homework, we would definitely be able to work through the draft quicker & this also helps accounts for work & anything other commitments. Not stopping anyone from picking in <1h or even <30m if they have their players lined up ready to go

If we are cool with this I’ll reset draft time to ^ that time so that way we don’t have to change times again

I’ll also offer the option to pause the draft in case someone has forgotten or they can’t jump on for any reason

Hope ^ is ok for everyone. I’ve done a draft pause when most are likely to check sleeping (12-5am) but obviously the quicker everyone drafts the easier this will be
All good here and looking forward to it.

Curious can you still pick between 12-5am as it just pauses the timer or does the whole draft get paused?

I'm just now catching up with all the NFL news.
Basically, you lock me in for any time, one advantage being retired!
