I'm just now catching up with all the NFL news.
Basically, you lock me in for any time, one advantage being retired!
Welcome back, Bermie. Is the retirement recent? If so congrat,s.
I think it's settled that we will have a slow draft starting Monday 22 August at 8.00am.
It's all detailed in above posts but I'll summarize.
We have 12hrs to make a pick; if we don't the platform picks for us
That 12hr countdown is paused from midnight to 5.00am; you can still draft in those hours but the 12hr clock won't start until 5.00am
Ideally, people will know which players they want to draft, keep track of how the draft is going and not take too much time to make their pick.
[I've been in a slow draft that sometimes was lucky to get 3 picks a day. If that happens with us we will end up having to finish the draft as a 3 minute-per-pick draft a day or two before the opening game. I doubt anyone wants that.]
One advantage of a slow draft is that during the later rounds when choices become difficult you can take the time to research relatively unknown players. So ideally, the early to middle rounds should go fairly quickly and it's only the later rounds that take time.

I think that about covers it.

Spot on, bar the point about the CPU Pick - I’ve turned that functionality off (unsure what happens if someone times out) haha

Thanks Rupert, I've been retired about a year now, but still doing some art restoration jobs as a hobby, mainly because I like doing them.

If anybody is curious about my new Avatar, it is my interpretation of one of the :alien: SuperCoach Gods :alien:, the AFL SC God.
Below is a larger version to see it in more detail.

Good luck to all, I hope this is your best year.

I love that avatar, reckon that should be the official SC Logo :), only reason they might not consider it is because it might spark some religious and or scientific controversy with the question, is the perceived Christian God actually interstellar aliens?....lol

I am pleased you like the avatar.
There is no proof of any religious Gods that they are not an interstellar alien. I didn't want to choose an existing religious God, or an existing ancient God, but a God that could be all of them, or none of them. (Hope that makes sense).

BTW: If anybody would like me to design an avatar, or alter your current avatar, then just message me, I would be pleased to have a go.

I'm not a religious person myself, but if there was a God, I'd like to believe it had a Football for a head ;)

Like many others here, I will vouch for the great work Bermi does. If anyone is interested, he's probably responsible for almost all of the good images you will see around site and highly recommend taking up this offer. My avatar is a Bermi special, like many others in this topic and across the site.

Thanks for your comments, much appreciated.
I have already been messaged for an avatar design, that's good, as I love a challenge and to make people happy.
