Quite a few good early VC options in the first 3 games.

1. Laird vs Eagles
Officially the highest averaging player and highest priced player in supercoach land. You saw what Miller was able to do to the Eagles. Playing his 200th game against them so a chance to get 200sc points too? Just imagine what he could be capable of. Likely to be the most captained player this week.

2. Mills vs North
Last week Zerrett was able to go huge against North. Mills is probably due for a big one and what perfect way then against current last placed North? If you have a late donut in Culley, why not VC Mills into Laird?

3. Miller vs Hawks
There's a chance Miller could be tagged by Finn but has scored 150 in his past two, could be a very popular VC this week. Currently the highest 5 round averaging player.

4. Zerrett vs Giants
With 5 big scores in a row ranging from 133-147, it'd be very hard not to consider him again. He's the 2nd highest averaging player in the last 5 rounds.

5. Oliver vs Pies
Collingwood despite winning gave up a big chunk of the SC pie to their opponents in Port. With their top two scorers scoring 113 & 100. Meanwhile Port had 3 mids scoring between 119-125. A lot lower on the list as he has had two poorer games since coming back from thumb surgery. Here's hoping he can bounce back.

Honourable mention
The Bont

Currently the highest 3 rd averaging player but due to his two massive scores prior to last round. He had a down week against current ladder leaders but also up against another tough opponent in freo this week.

Mills into Laird pretty easy for me, its a tough round if you dont own either of those two IMO, wouldnt particularly trust Clarry after the last fortnight and think theres likely tags/significant attention coming for all of Miller(Maginness),Merrett(Ash),Bont(Aish) and Steele(Blicavs).

No Laird (oops right?) and I don't think Clarry is fully back yet, so Touk into Bont or maybe Stewart.

Parish is back this round, he may also affect Merrett's scoring?

No Laird for me which is pure agony, especially this week.

VC duties will depend on whether Clarry still has the thumb splint or not. I'll VC Touk if not Clarry but not sure I would want to put the C on Touk if I go Clarry as VC and he fails due to the likely Maginness tag.

If I VC Touk and he fails, I really don't know what I'll do. Merrett would have been the obvious one but he plays at the same time as Touk.

It really, really sucks to not own Laird.

I don’t have Laird or Mills, so I have to find alternatives to the mainline.
Am considering making Petracca my VC even tho I have had no luck with him all season.
Stewart for back-up.. Surely one of them will do the job.

Do you own T Miller or Z Merrett, to use as a VC instead of Petracca?

Hey mate, if he has one of those 170 blinder games, you'll be laughing all the way to your GF, at this stage he's no less risky that going with Oliver.
