1078, held station. Extremely lucky to have traded out Lewis, it wasn't my preference to but I was prioritising sainz and perez in and it was one of the only ways I could get the numbers to work.

Went Perez C which in hindsight seems extremely stupid since Max won from P10 literally last round on a track which is much harder to overtake. He is driving like he's playing F122 on easy mode, unreal to watch.

On Max's fightback - as an interesting aside, Russell said in the pre-race that the Merc strategists had Max at P5 by Lap 7. In the end, he had P5 by the last turn of lap 6, and that was despite a safety car!

Down to 5th. Could have been a lot worse with Hamilton's DNF.

Still plenty of races to turn things around, but it's fair to say I'm playing for second at the moment ;)
Haha, you're more confident then me!

Think the priority this week will be getting the second red bull in - if they score their average some easy cash gains to be made while they cycle a 199

I've prepared some driver and teams break evens going into round 15, which is this weekend.

Drivers: Tsunoda 5, Vettel 6, Gasly 6, Zhou 10, Albon 13, Ocon 18, Dan Ric 23, Latifi 30, Magnussen 30, Alonso 33, Stroll 38, Norris 47, Russell 48, Schumacher 51, Bottas 52, Perez 53, Sainz 82, Max 91, Leclerc 115, Hamilton 117

Teams: Alpha -9, Williams 22, Alpine 40, Aston 42, Alfa 43, McLaren 47, Haas 61, Red Bull 66, Mercedes 112, Ferrari 136

Trades:
Just trying to limit the damage at the moment, which means bringing in Perez will need to wait one more round. Fortunately a Russell to Perez trade next round should still be reasonably straight forward. A number of cheap drivers that could be brought in this round.

Out: Hamilton, Mercedes, Mercedes
In: Vettel, Red Bull, Red Bull

Max (C), Sainz, Russell, Vettel
Red Bull, Red Bull, Ferrari, Ferrari

Out: Merc, Russell, Sainz
In: RB, Alonso/Ocon, Leclerc

Max (C), Perez, Leclerc, Alonso/Ocon
RB, RB, Ferrari, Ferrari

First pair of trades I'm hoping will be roughly net nil on points, so just soaking up the RB cash gain. Ocon lower BE than Alonso but realistically unless Ocon completely looks comfortable with the car from the outset of first practice I'm taking Nando.
Final trade - very simply I expect both Sainz and Leclerc to perform at or around their breakevens, so may as well take the better driver.
15 trades left

Piastri confirmed at Mclaren for the next couple of years. Sounds like Gasly is at the head of the queue for the Alpine seat. Not looking good for Dan Ric.
Think DR needs to seriously think about Haas or Williams. He is on record saying he is happy to sit a year out but at his age and having just been given a walloping I don't see a way back in if he's out

Not sure how happy a guy like him would be to potter around at the back though. Might just be the end for him, and if it is he's still been a gun driver for a decade now. Not too many blokes can say they've won eight GPs.
