I know we can only work with what we have , but what if the Strikers announce Siddle in the last week ?

If players are announced after we sort out the team, happy to make changes if that's what people want. This team we are putting together now won't be 100% locked in, I just want a team to be able to discuss, plus have a bit of time to allow people to suggest changes, rather than asking for them after the matches begin when it's too late.

Change David to Wade and it leaves $ 101,400.00 in the Bank.

Have set it up this way :-

To bench Neser , Stoinis , Zampa in Round 2
Keep Rashid Round 2
Fade Marsh Round 2

Proposed Round 2 Trades :-

Boult - > Tye
Lynn - > Agar
Green - > Richardson

Actually might even be a better setup than my own team 😀

The last two seasons there were posts/thread with maximum points possible after each round. Wondering if looking at that could be relevant in terms of maximising DGR #'s?

No issues with your submission @Herbie66, I had the same amount of cash remaining as you mentioned when I added it up and it fits the structure.

7 players so far are in all 5 sides to date.

Oh I see what I've done, I thought I'd put everyone into SC but I missed Green (who is nowhere near any of my drafts for my own team). Swap Agar for J Richardson.

I would like to see if Sandhu gets signed - I'd say it'll be tight with the remaining $$ though. (average $104,400 per player left over)
The "Heat", and the "?" could be any one else who fits I guess.

Few changes over the last couple of days makes the Thunder picks in particular a bit more interesting.

Happy for people who have already submitted to change their team selection if they want, as I think the Thunder selections might not be clear cut (and we have at least 6 of them).

Changed my team a fair bit. Bit of guess work, hopefully we don't need to make too many late changes.

Changes to initial team: Gilkes brought in as keeper. I don't like the pick, I'm not sure he is even locked in as the Thunder keeper in every match, but he should bat higher than Nielsen. Considered Clarke instead, but prefer to keep a bit of cash in the bank (plus Gilkes seems a lock to make it based on other sides).

Larkin I brought in as the Stars have to get runs from somewhere. Taking a punt on him as a cheap option who should bat top 4. I expect he'll be traded out after Rd 1 if he does make the team.

Siddle was announced since the first version of my team, I still rate him. Think he'll have at least one good game of the two in Rd 1. Farooqi went, as I'm not entirely sure he plays all of the first 4 matches, and could backfire as a selection. Think he won't get up at this stage due to a lack of teams entered... (please enter a team if you haven't yet.)

Dropped NCN for structure mainly. Thought my initial team was too heavy on Thunder batting, and I think McAndrew will outscore Ross who I had initially. I'd probably prefer one less Thunder player to be honest, as I don't think there are 6 worth including, but we decided on 6.

On the bench, Salt was dropped due to injury, and Neser as I get the feeling he might be called up to the test team (can always bring him in later). Agar is the new in, who is one I think we want for Rd 2, along with Nielsen, who I personally think should be the full time bench keeper (on field keeper rotated week to week).

12 hours to get a team in and help shape the starting side!

It looks like you have selected 5 Thunder, 3 Strikers (and no DGR keeper). I do probably prefer this structure...
