I’ll probably be going Stoinis as VC, contemplating it anyway pending the stats lineup.

If Sams misses round 1 I’ll be preparing my side to be able to get him in round 2 in case he is back. Not wanting to deathride a guy on a round whos likely to get 4 opportunities to score.

That's the problem with him (& Richardson) , both potentially Top 5 scoring players , if they do miss their first rounds , how/when do we factor in to trade them in or do we forget them and just follow the fixtures and stick with BH , MR/SS , MR/SS etc ?

Maybe have to use a Boost for them but then have another player that we want to trade out at that particular time.

Hopefully we get some clarity on both ASAP and Perth announce their new OS so we know which Scorchers to start and who to trade in for Round 2 and whether we need to "save" a trade for Sams.

It's possible depending how they line up. The most likely case is if Adelaide go two quicks, two spinners and a 5th bowler of CDG + Short. Given one of the quicks will be Siddle, I think it becomes a really live option.

Mind you if they line up like that I'm probably breaking my team to get Short after all!
