Without double checking, I seem to recall Siddle usually bowling outside of the opening powerplay last season.

Kuhnemann not listed in the starting XI.

South Africa are planning to play most of their Squad so it might mean he still can bowl though.

Still waiting for confirmation on a few things , but looking likely it will be this :-

Gilkes / Nielsen

Sams * (tbc) , Hales , Rossouw , 🍩 * , Stoinis * / Webster (E) , 🍩

Rashid Khan , Boult , 🍩 , Siddle , Zampa / Green (E) , CDG *

Bank : $ 59,400.00

If Richardson is available , the plan will be to bring in 3 more Scorchers for Round 2.

Last season my Round 1 Rank was 29,495th so I seriously hope I improve on that otherwise AFL SC research might start very early 😀

I think we are all waiting on fitness news re Richardson and whether he is available for Round 2 , I would be cautious and find the $ 7,200.00 for Tye and start him instead.

Personally prefer Inglis to Bancroft (a lot here like the latter) , Scorchers line-up still up in the air not sure if both Bancroft & Hobson play ( du Plessis , Hardie , Inglis , new OS , Turner + 1 is my guess if Agar is @ 7)

Don't mind the Shadab pick but would probably change him to Rossouw for back-to-back DGR's start or maybe Gilkes (then it opens up better/easier trade options for Clarke Round 2)

Not sure which way you go with trading out Clarke in Round 2 , Boult gets you a high priced Scorcher easily enough , looks like you will need to trade out Rashid as well.

Just my thoughts

Does Siddle or CDG still get you the same (preferred) player for your Round 2 trades ?

Or do you then need to find extra dollars somewhere else ?

Personally see Siddle as a Round 1 lockity lock , know what you are getting.
