Mujeeb vs Swepson?
Would rather mujeeb but swepson double game entices me and it is unlikely I will play either the first 2 rounds anyway unless I loop.
If you keep Mujeeb until his R5 double, Swepson has no DGR advantage over him. Does Swepson help to possibly gain any looping advantage in R2? If not, I would say Mujeeb.
I agree.. when in doubt I think lean towards the bowler as generally there will be more points in that phase. Plus Farooqi could theoretically get a bat but Rossouw won’t get a bowl!
I think I’m more interested in exploring whether holding Matt Short is an option. Looked in good touch and while the role isn’t quite as good at the end of last season it’s still pretty good. Any player that’s a threat in all 3 areas is a hard sell.

Short I am holding with his perfect role & the form he showed with the bat.
So looking at Boult (stars bye), Stoinis (bye/ covid so might take time to regain fitness) & Siddle (unlucky tonight) >
du Plessis, Richardson (or Agar) & Lyth
Already have Inglis & Hardie so gives me 5 Scorchers on the double.
Early thoughts though, things could easily change 😂
I’ve made a switch to Brown mid round and have Inglis, Agar, Tye. I’ll be having to consider all options. Could easily hold if I avoid Faf, or Richo isn’t named, so we will see.
I’m having a look at whether I trade some ST players to PS, especially if the second game goes poorly. Sangha to a PS Bowler might be the better play if it allows me to keep some more useful SGR guys (Rash, Short, etc). Will need to properly work through the cash situation and pretty sure I’ll only be able to keep one of the two AS guys but something to think about.
I’m also weighing up whether I switch out Inglis now so that I can go Gilkes to him next round, or whether I skip him altogether and just focus on the PS bowlers.
Plenty to ponder but also don’t want to jump off just one game played by these players!
Is there enough cash in hand to take both the Heat players? I think given the philosophy of that team to date has been to maximise the schedule that you just take them both if there's room.
All else being equal though I think I like Wade at the top more than Billings in the middle against what will be a quality spin attack...

I don’t think anyone really wanted to start Gilkes if not for DGR considerations. Rossouw can go huge and has a good record. Wood seems okay but his career record isn’t that compelling - basically one wicket per game @ 8 RPO, doesn’t bat much.
