Harper has trapped me before, I'm torn between Billings and Wade, benching Wade next week feels weird, and tbh that Canes team is so strong has me thinking they share the runs around all year.

Billings is probably overpriced (batting at 4? and not keeping), but at least he's a legit bench next week (allows a loop look at Inglis first game I guess too) then the double, then flick to Phillipee.

Its Billings at the moment for me so far.

Those that are feeling slightly off the pace so far plan now for Round 2 and back your initial selections in. Things can turn quickly in this game so stay strong.
How naive.

The opening two matches are indicative of what is in store for the remainder of the season and all current data must be extrapolated over the remainder of the season. There is no foreseeable scenario in which a comeback can be made. An exercise in futility until the end of January.

Weather update

This "storm" hit the range and dissipated. Here in Port Douglas the little amount of rain received wasn't even enough to wet the driveway, and last 10 minutes of the lightess of light rain.

I'm not seeing build up west of Cairns the is likely to hit Cairns at this stage. But will continue to monitor. If it does build up, I'd say it will be in the next hour or so, and be done and dusted before the game.

It will be ideal conditions for the swing bowlers. A couple of us had the white ball hooping around on Tuesday at training.

I can only hold Rashid or Short, I’ll probably trade Short just because it looks like he might only get 2 overs moving fwd, i didn’t like that CDG got more overs
CDG got more overs and from what I saw was bowling pies o_O

Maybe if Short took that catch on the last ball of his first over things might have been different, but going forward, I agree RK19 probably has the more sustainable scoring

Prefer to keep him but will probably have to trade, just havent got enough value in trade outs otherwise.
Is a SHORT in the hand worth 2 scorchers in a game ,He is one of the top players but how do you keep him .Silly of me for all the obvious reasons but I like Turner now and a savings of 50k over Agar. Tye and Jye for sure sure, not so sure with agar NDD

Think if the preference is going to be given to CDG pies like it seemed to be last night theres enough scoring volatility with Short to be content to trade him out, plays a poor shot early in an innings theres a good chance hes scoring under 10 for 200K.
