May I ask: why did you start Webster?
His BBL history isn't that good apart from 2019-20: 17.9, 32.3, 50.1, 17.8 and 32.8.
In the Marsh Cup he's hardly bowled: 4 inn - 18 overs - 2/23 - 5344 ER; batting at 6: 5 inn - 36.66av. - 99.09 SR
In the Shield: 10 inn - 140.5 overs - 11/438; batting at 7: 9 inn - 23.22av. - 55.29 SR

On form, nothing suggested he'd be good.
Was it purely his price and DGR?

As soon as Maxwell was out I thought he would get his overs. He used to bowl early overs when he was at Renegades. Was also a chance to bat higher than last year as a result too.

When hes got the opportunity hes actually been pretty reasonable just hasnt happened for quite a few years, thought Maxwell out provided that opportunity and when the only risk was a loop spot over a bunch of pretty average other candidates it felt worth the punt.
