How do you pick three top order bats that each get to bat twice and have them combine for three runs?

The various 50/50s in play this round:
* Sams v Rashid captain. Actually came out ahead here by 26, but forced me into other decisions that cost me a lot more.
* Wood v NCN - how different my round looks if I get this one right! Effectively this became Rossouw v NCN because I made a second decision to gamble on Rossouw hitting back harder than Wood. 174 points in the bin.
* Siddle v Boult - 66 points lost. Boult even bowled the 20th last night...
* Siddle + Hosein v Short + Naveed - Considered this option when I saw the Strikers running light on bowlers, decided to back my judgment that Short wasn't the play. Little did I know he'd bowl more than Siddle in game 2. :ROFLMAO: 145 points gone, but Hosein still a chance to help make them back.
* Hosein v either of Rossouw or Wood - this option was closed off to me once I committed to Sams, and isn't additive to Wood v NCN, but I could have salvaged about 75 of those lost points back.
* The Stoinis issue - I did consider benching Stoinis, but it's a pretty fundamental part of professional sport that once you're named (especially in a sport like cricket where you can't be substituted in the normal course of events), you're fit to go. For the Stars to flout that, not once but twice in a few days, is incredibly irresponsible. In the best case, I could have benched him on the BWL line, and got both Wood and Hosein on field...

Right. Out of my system. We go again.

At this stage

Clarke to Agar
Rashid to Tye (holding Short, works better for my side as my 6th bowler comes on in a SGR rather than 6th batter)
Siddle to Richardson
Lynn to Hosein

9xDGR. Short and then loop Shadab and Hosein
not 100% on Richo due to fitness concerns

Will boost again next round to grab 4x Heat and then save the last one until the later rounds where there’s multiple DGR teams again

Greetings esteemed comrades,

I seek your wise advice. I'm in love with my team and can't bear to part with most of them. Was going to trade Clarke for Billings, can't do that now. Might as well keep all the Thunder players for this round and look forwards with great expectation to Hales and Rossouw in particular doing their thing next round. Will probably keep Sams and Farooqi after this round. Stoinis and Zampa can't be dropped until they have had a lengthy run of failure. Shadab the same. Transferring out Rashid and Thornton is unthinkable. I want to hold Naveed unless he is not playing next round. That only leaves Rogers and Brown to be traded out, probably for Hatz and Lyth, would like to have Tye though. Want to bring in Hosein however would have to trade out Green, Rossouw or Hales to do so which is not ideal.

$118,200 in the bank.

Any thoughts appreciated.

It's T20, Clarke could score a duck next game and finish on 0. I have Clarke but traded to Philipe as per my original plan. Philipe is just as likely to score as well as Clarke really.

Honestly don’t know how next weeks trades will look with Hales and Rossouw worth nothing. May have to burn Matt Short next week tbh, or take really cheap Heat. Will still have Inglis, Lyth and Stoinis in my 11 next round too. Scary

Neser playing is so important as a result of our incredibly disappointing Thunder batsmen.

Thinking

Boult -> tye
Hales -> bazley
Lynn -> lyth
CDG -> Hardie

would much rather trade roussow over hales but need to get rid of one thunder fault

Will have 9 dgw and can decide to take naveed or gilkes depending

Alright no time to dwell (Ranked 5,913th , 523 points behind the Leader)

Siddle - > J Richardson (if named)
Roussow - > A Agar
Gilkes - > Turner

$ 32,000.00

6 x PS , 4 x ST & Rashid Khan

Need to think about BH for Round 3

Hales BE of 127 🤔

If Neser gets released from the test squad, you would have Neser and Swepson worth $100k. Renshaw only $136k. I think getting the better heat players for their double shouldn't be too expensive.

Their bowling mix will be interesting, dont understand why they'd bother signing him if they weren't going to use him, makes it a little tougher to trust Naveed's position in the side I reckon.
Optus tonight then 3 games in a row at the SCG (think they normally like 2 spinners at home)

Can't see them playing Abbott , Dwarshuis , Kerr , Naveen & the 2 spinners though unless they leave out DC 😱 or Patterson.

Stiff to leave out Kerr after last season

Good idea to sign a second Afghanistan player though while Naveed settles in.
