I definitely overthought the Jhye Richo pick thinking he would miss Game 2 of his double so I ended up fading him. Decisions like this just keep me from rising up into the high ranks and is real frustrating to be honest...
Was owned by 6.4% of Teams in Round 1. Was traded in by 5.7% of Teams in Round 2.
You're in the same boat as 87.9% of Teams, me included. I wouldn't worry too much.

Buy low sell high is the aim of the game. How else are we affording these more expensive players? Rashid, Tye, Zampa, Naveed, Abbott,J.Rich,K.Rich and Hosein all bowl only. Could always be a trade out then trade back in situation

I have 60k in the bank which should be enough for Hales to Billings, Lyth to Neser and Rossouw to
Kuhnemann but leaves my bowlers too stacked

Rashid, Richo, Tye, Farooqi, Hosein (Zampa,Kuhnemann)

Zampa is much better than my 5th, let alone 6th batting spot

Thoughts on Agar v Sams captaincy?

Appreciate any advice, cheers
I'm going with Agar.
Partly on numbers.
Sams' averages over the last few seasons with the most recent first: 61.8, 65.2, 68.5 and 59.1.
Notice the slow decline? [Not that it necessarily means that much.]
If he hits his average he will score 130-odd over his two games.
Agar needs 58 to do that.

Partly on the old saying "a bird in the hand ...."
And partly on a trust in cricket abiliity. I see Sams as a reasonably skillful but ultimately very lucky T20 player whereas Agar is good enough to play for Australia.
As a bit of a purist, I'll back ability over luck any time.

N.B. Although if you trust the SC projections you'd go with Sams: 167 to Agar's 131.

What’s everyone’s plans for Farooqi next week? Been a gun so far but will be like 160k, cash out to a Swepson and bank 55k? Hold? Thunder have no doubles left
Trade to a Heat , then to a Renegade/Sixer

Can't become attached if you want to play the fixture game

Hopefully can hold Sams on their Bye.

Round 3 Farooqi Bye , probably not fielding Zampa v the Scorchers

Round 5 Rashid Bye

Eventually trading out 3 of them in any case

Not saying you're wrong, and I tend to follow "a bird in the hand" type thinking myself.
Just interesting that you use averages to "exclude" Sams, but never looked at Agar's averages.
As you say, he needs 58 to hit Sams averages projected score.
Agar SC history:
21/22 = 55.5
20/21 = DNP
19/20 = 35.9
18/19 = 46.3
17/18 = 43.7
So if you're basing it on past/recent averages, Sams would be you're pick!
Personally, I'm locking in Tye, who didn't score much more than Agar anyway.

Scorchers struggled with Naveed last night, so you’d likely field Zampa against them tbh

And yeah Farooqi is hard with no more DGR. Exceeded all expectations but if you can make 60k getting him to a Swepson on his DGR, who then slide to the bench thereafter, I don’t think it’s a bad move personally. Should then ensure you can hold Sams and get Hales, Rossouw etc to good players

Was just looking at his historical average v the Scorchers.

Think their Round 3 game is on the Junction Road

Although apparently Zampa is starting to bowl balls that turn.

Hoping to turn :-

Farooqi - > Steketee - > MR/SS bowler (not Abbott or Richardson yet)

Green - > Swepson - > probably then becomes Mujeeb

Hales - > ??? , might be Peirson 😱 depending on $$$

Can hold Sams but he probably has to go around Round 5 in any case so if I have to fast track him I will

Bringing in Turner may have been a mistake if he bleeds too much money.

Changing strategy a little bit. Moved away from Billings and 3rd trade to go Hossein instead.
Basically sacrificing Inglis 33 + whatever he scores 2nd game of DGR for a boost plus SGR player of whatever Hosein/Shadab/Short. Gilkes going on field in WK and will be flicked to Billings next week.

Thoughts on Bazley next round? Batting 7 and bowling 4, or does that change with Neser back in?
Personally quite keen on Bazley and he’s one of my locked in spots. Good score in round 1 and took death with Steketee. Expecting that to continue with Neser up front and through the middle. Bazley, Neser + one of their bats is my current thinking. Not sure if I’ll boost for a 4th. Leaning no but Kuhnemann cash is one I’ll contemplate.

What’s everyone’s plans for Farooqi next week? Been a gun so far but will be like 160k, cash out to a Swepson and bank 55k? Hold? Thunder have no doubles left
He’s probably gone for me. I’ll want to hold my scorchers vs stars. Rashid as well. Then I’ll want Sixers/gades like abbott, Hosein, Mujeeb, Richo, Naveen so really limited for spots on that bowling line.
