I traded out Rashid Khan and Tye to get in Hosein this round, but I realise I can also shift out NCN, Zampa, or Renshaw.

If you had to rank the 5 above from here, what would your thoughts be? Can rejig my trade a bit from here.
1st. Tye (great record at home)
2nd. Rashid leaves soon but still could get some good scores before he leaves
3rd. NCN damaging when he plays, always a risk of a rest here and there.
4th Zampa
5th Renshaw (won't bowl if both Swepson/Kuhnemann are in the side, so is purely just a batter)

Great thank you. Will get Tye and Khan in, keep Zampa over NCN for budget reasons.

Tye (check out his draw, noting he has a strong record in Perth)
Zampa
NCN
Rashid (given bye/upcoming departure, otherwise would be #1)
Renshaw comfortably last (not bowling)

Wouldn't ya know it, lol

$1,000 off preferred trades of Zampa, Agar and Steketee to Philippee, Kerr and KRicho

Looks like I will just need to fade Kerr and take Philippee, Abbott and KRicho.

I don’t love Henriques (or any batsman) on these pitches, but he has the lowest BE by a way for those I would be interested in owning, and he’s cheap (ie he should go up short term as well as medium term). Could be an option if you do want someone like Kerr.

With that said, Philippe, Abbott and KRicho were the top 3 names I wrote down for this double in the pre season. You could do a lot worse!

Re: trade-outs…

Thinking Steketee and maybe Neser due to poor scores, but I also have Rashid Khan (who I think is leaving soon?)

Fairly vanilla side from here, missing Short is my big issue long term.

Maddinson vs. Philippe ?

On the assumption that Maddinson would be the 5th/6th option with the ball.
If Gades XI drops and he's not that option, Philippe would be the one.
Think I know the answer here as I sit and type out the caveats to the X vs. Y hahaha.

Who to field:

Gilkes vs Inglis
Hardie vs Stoinis
I'm always playing Stoinis if he's in my squad. The day I leave him out he goes off. He's in my squad.

Australian selectors think Hardie in the longer game. But Hardie did not bowl the other night for the Scorchers.
And, when we saw Stoinis play, he bowled and Webster did not. So Stars prefer Stoinis bowling over Webster. Or should I say Stoinis' mate Zampa prefers the Hulk.

As for the other 2, when I picked Gilkes, he did nothing. Dropped him, he went off.

Last game
Inglis 39 / Gilkes 111

but that could change tonight.
Sorry, after all that, I guess you're non the wiser

Gilkes vs Inglis
Inglis pretty comfortably.

Do you have much exposure to each of the bowling attacks that will likely bowl against either keeper? For example, if still holding onto Steketee and/or Neser, I would prefer not to field Gilkes and especially so if you are also fielding Hales.

Another factor to consider is the expected scoring ranges for both players involved in the x and y, which comes down to your risk appetite. Would you be willing to field Gilkes with what I would expect to be less confidence in comparison to Inglis or possibly confidence being a tad misplaced and very reactionary to their last innings?

What are your intentions in terms of trading or holding Gilkes and Inglis over the next few rounds? I would much prefer to trade Inglis before I would consider benching him with no ability to loop. Just think of Gilkes performance tonight (if benched) as an added bonus thanks to his negative breakeven with no risk attached. Under no pressure to perform and if he manages to outscore Inglis by a very considerable margin, then big whoop.

BBL12:
Inglis lowest score of 33
Gilkes total points this season (exclusive of last round)= 26 (0,10,13,3)

I'm running a loop

M Short / Hales*, Inglis

I also have
1) Stoinis, 2) Webster, and 3) Neser
with either M Short or one of those 3 being a non scoring BWL bench player

So I could field all 3, in any case
What order would you rank them?

I'm leaning
1, 3, 2 - because, if Stoinis is back, he may take Webster's overs, even though Webster is the inform player from the three.

Wood, Stoinis, Hales

Need to play 2.

Bit wary of 1 trick ponies where that trick is just batting, so leaning towards Stoinis and Wood, Stoinis has been out of form, but is surely due? Hales despite his last two scores has looked stractchy and not sure I like him against Neser, Steketee etc?
