So based on Tails figures , this is the Heat after their last game

Neser Ave 61 $ 141,786
Bazley 51 $ 155,800.00

Johnson 40 $ 73,891
Brown 39 $ 113,628
Renshaw 39 $ 100,485
Kuhnemann 35 $ 94,596
Peirson 33 $ 84,581
Labuschagne 31 - already own

Khawaja 20 - already own
Swepson 16 $ 56,367
Hain 11 $ 89,411

Need to be mindful that our Heat players may need to be fielded Round 13 as well , outside of Neser wouldn't be too confident fielding any of them on a SGR.

I gather Neser is a no brainer.

If Bazley is not selected Game 1 what do we do ? (what is our back-up)

Are we going a 3rd Heat or Hurricane ?

Clock is ticking

If the scenario is trade Abbott or Short or go without Bazley personally I would just go without Bazley but it wont be the popular viewpoint it seems, spot in side feels dodgy and think theres capacity for one of their cheaper bowlers to match him going back to back at the Gabba, cash restraint provides an opportunity to run with a POD would just be about picking the right one.

Friday is a double header as well so we won't have 24-48 hours to discuss it and try and work it out either.

Steketee seems to have been "managed" for a long time , no idea if there is a injury there or not or completely out of favour.

Cash is a massive problem , going to have to sacrifice one of Abbott/Sams/Short if we want both Neser & Bazley + whoever , otherwise it might be Neser , Johnson & Renshaw as the 3 possible ins.

Even just using 2 trades (Carey & Head) out won't get Bazley & Neser.

Does Johnson play both though with Bartlett & Steketee waiting ?

Hi guys

Can we post the team as is again please

Each page I get further and further confused

I'm a very visually orientated person
I was planning to when I got home, which I just did.

Not sure on the batting bench player, chose the one with the lowest projected score.

Sams has a lower projected score than Hardie, but figured Hardie would be the one most would choose to bench.

...I don't trust projected scores by the way...

A few thoughts on the above Qs:

- I have benched McD for Bancroft. Bancroft’s projection doesn’t seem to factor in his form, and McD is playing away against the best attack.

- I agree with fielding Sams over Hardie. Hardie hasn’t been bowling, and much of Sams’ appeal is his role. The Renegades aren’t great either.

- Dooley’s BE is a little lower than Dorf’s (3 vs 18), so he’ll go up 4k more if they score the same. That is helpful but I’d probably just get whoever we think scores more tonight. If in doubt, I would err on getting Dorf because he has the earlier DGR, and both are BWL only, which can sometimes reduce flexibility on trade options. I’ve actually traded Dooley in myself, but for our team I would probably vote for Dorf unless we see something in the matchups.

Separately, I do like Renshaw as a cheap R12 option if we need one - in form, DPP, two games at the Gabba, Hurricanes and Stars attacks include some weaker bowlers. I am okay trading Abbott next round if it helps us get our preferred ins though.
