If this wasn’t a DGW, you guys would be whinging like stuck pigs if you owned Hatzoglou using him as a loop player.

It’s the XI named that counts towards the score, otherwise it would be unfair (whether an advantage or disadvantage) if Hatzoglou has a score that counts. Same as a sub getting a catch.
Huh who is whingeing ?

Posted weeks ago was curious what happens if a concussion substitute is used whether his score would count or not.

I have read the rules regarding substitute fielders , so wanted to know if concussion substitutes are treated the same or different as it is not stated in the rules anywhere where I could see.

Trying to find out from a game perspective

Don't even own Hatzoglou.

Firstly, read how I wrote my post, ‘if’ was used twice.

Secondly, the rules are pretty straightforward in this situation. They’ll likely remedy or clarify this after the round, but there’s no chance they’re going to count Hatzoglou’s score tonight given the rule is a blanket one:

“Points are awarded based on a participant's Starting 11 players and any “emergency” who replaces a member of the participant's Starting 11.

A substitute who comes on and off the field temporarily (i.e. fielding) in a match will NOT be deemed to have played, and will NOT be awarded any points.”

Ticked Agar didn’t play, not that he’s gets much but took a lot of interest out of that, Sutho trolls me a bit again.

Feels there abouts but it’s very tight in top 20 so not sure what this does, doubt it’s an up and hope it’s not a down, Smith and Bancroft owners probably the concern

You have a great knowledge of cricket.

Substitute fielders and concussion substitutes are treated differently , obviously not in Fantasy.

Nothing in there about if they bat or bowl though.

No need to bold rules that I have read.

Thank you

The question remaining unanswered at this stage is A substitute who comes on permanently in a match due to concussion/injury protocols.
