Just a quick one with the loop scenario, there is a possibility of looping one of Renshaw/Bazley with Sams instead, it’s basically a decision of whether we want to lock in Short or Sams score. I’d back Short over Sams but open to discussion
I like this suggestion. I hadn’t spotted it (maybe because I don’t have Sams!), but I’d much rather lock in Short’s score than Sams’.

I reckon we do it.

Fortunately Abbott went big, so we can C Hardie, and have a clean BAT loop (not linked to the VC loop).

So Short on field, one of Renshaw/Bazley as E, Sams benched with no E (fielded if Renshaw/Bazley fails)? Done. Can confirm the E later tonight.

Looks good to me - Short being on field seems to be the key for now.

I would normally have Bazley as the E given a (perceived?) higher ceiling, but with Renshaw in good form and bowling, I think there’s a decent case his ceiling is also high, and maybe more probably right now. I’d consider casing that one on the toss (whoever does their main discipline first). Neser still seems the best on field pick.

I think we should have kept Short as E myself...

Id be tempted to go the more unique loop and look to zag and try make up some points, expect every man and their dog to loop Renshaw.

Bazley is owned by 90.3% (535 teams) of the top 1% and is on field 72%, so is on the bench for ~134 teams.

Renshaw is owned by 56.4% (334 teams) of the top 1% and is on field for 80%, so is on the bench for ~67 teams.

Given we have to choose between these 2, what is your thinking behind Renshaw being the more popular loop option? The numbers seem to suggest he is less popular and has less opportunity to be looped given the lower bench number.

Would have thought far more coaches would have traded Bazley but appears not, at work so havent got the time to look deeply into it, my mistake.

Wasted (hindsight) one of my loops on Philippe , so need to field 3 of the 4 Heat DPP's myself (the other is traded).

Wonder if Labuschagne has a decent bat score in him today 🤔
Id just trade Labuschagne, think we all got stooged expecting him to bowl, as a batsman only think hes really a 20-30 guy.

Renshaw,Bazley and Neser only need one decent ball and theyll beat that.

Renshaw locked in as E.

The only decisions left now will be whether we take his score, or bring on Sams post match. If David has a shocker, we might want to put the C on Sams too. Hopefully there's no decision to make and both Renshaw and David score well.
