Allow me the pleasure of crowning you 'Champion of the Crowd' for BBL|12.
Given the pressure at the top, your conduct and generosity in giving other coaches an insight to your game is nothing short of exceptional.

Too kind. I struck it pretty lucky from the outset with a few unconventional things. I think the Thunder being bowled out for 15 was a massive benefit to my game.
I fluffed my lines a lot late, and Andrew is just such a clean player. To be walking into the last day with 2 Brisbane and a Hobart loop into 3 Stars says a lot about the difference in planning.
And here I was stuffing around with Travis Head
There's a level of gameplay and then there's an elite level of gameplay. I will be better for the run. Whether that eventuates to anything prominent, who would know.
I would just encourage those in my position to try to embrace it. Use people as a sounding board. Talk about your struggles. It's not an easy position to be in. Such respect for all the guys that continually get to the pointy end year after year. They just know how to handle it a bit better than I did.

May as well post how my round went now. Didn’t want to get in the way of the celebrations.
1029 for a round rank of 109th was a great way to finish an average season. Was hoping for a top 500 finish but Sams’ late flurry at the end stopped that, falling 8 points behind 500th.

Just back from the game (2 hour drive).

This was enough to lift me from 182 to 136. Can’t be unhappy with that. I thought I put in a really good year and gave myself some great chances at a really high finish but alas couldn’t quite get that final ounce of luck to make it happen. I also had plenty go right as well.
I don’t target leagues as much in BBL as I do in AFL however I did win 4 leagues (1 public and 3 SCS) and one of those was the SCS Premier League and nobody can take that away from me. I should acknowledge the good fortune I had there with that late runout by David (C) and a handful of runs from Bazley giving me a 7 point victory over @Shaunpro1. Bad luck mate I thought you had me covered all the way. I also lost another one to @Herbie66 by 1 point where Sams’ bat couldn’t quite get me over the line.

Finished 551 overall, was 232 at round 4 so not quite where I wanted to finish in the end, but still a good deal better than last time(1005). Congratulations to @Diabolical on going back to back and @The Banker for an awesome effort among numerous others. I hope to see a lot of people around again for AFL SuperCoach , but to those who only come here for BBL SuperCoach hope to see you back next season.

Finished 217th overall. Lost my streak of top 100 finishes so definitely not my best season this time around. But happy to have done my part to be part of the top 3 leagues (and 2 other top 10 leagues).
Holy Moly @Diabolical! Back to back champion is just insane. Threepeat incoming! 🤣

Personally finished 510th and considering I never was able to nail the big performances by some players throughout the year, I'll take that.

Congrats to @Diabolical and everyone else at the pointy end. Just missed the top 100 (108) myself but can't be too disappointed seeing I only really played this year cos I got my kids involved.

Ended with 891 this round after a really disappointing final day (thank you Usman, Warner, Clarke, Marnus ...) but in the end it only dropped.me down 4 spots overall - final finish of 264.
I am overall happy with that, my best yet jn 3 years playing. I have learnt tonnes on this site and feel much better prepared for next year, though a shortened season might throw a spanner in the works - I am guessing it means less doubles and byes

For the first time I won't disappear now for 10 months - now that I know there is an active Nrl section, I will here for that. I am considering entering Afl for the first time - my knowledge is next to zero of that sport though, I would need a super rookie league haha!!!
In the meantime my focus goes to a smaller pond - currently I am ranked 7th in A League KeepUp fantasy, halfway through the season. Hopefully I channel some of you guys for my push there!

I've followed along and used ideas from many on here to support my own team.
Was fortunate in the final round to score a massive 1096 which dragged me from 216th into 95th overall to finish.
Stoked to score another KFC voucher and top 100 finish.
