Am I right in thinking, that the 2 players we pick from those ranked 1 - 8, don't actually play before we choose players again, for Round 2?
Correct.

Per Post 16 on Page 1: “In this first team pick, whilst we have to select our blue selections from the off due to bonus, they don't enter until Saturday evening's matches, so Captain and VC is best served on day 1 being from the yellow and green groups. From day to day we can adjust captains.”

I want to give this a plug.

Begins Saturday morning with the first tournament in a year long journey that culminates just after the 2024 New Year.

Adaptions have been made to improve the game. Some things needed a tweak to hopefully ensure that everyone has a better experience.

It's a not too serious format, but more a little hobby project that has been introduced to the site 12 months ago to try and attract people to a different sport. No experience required and no prior knowledge necessary.

I promise to anyone that gets involved that they will have a bit of fun, and I'm certain that you will become as addicted to another sport as what all of us that are currently involved are. Darts is a lot of fun and a great sport to watch.

Small prizes on offer into next years SC leagues for those that finish at the pointy end of our leaderboard.

Love to see some new faces, and whilst it is a bit of a commitment being year long, it isn't as much as it seems on the surface.

Step right up folks. Don't be shy.

It's a final call for anyone that is even at all interested in having a crack.

Even if you work out it's not for you, that's not a problem. I can easily readjust behind the scenes to get us back on track if we lose a participant or 10. I've made the current participants aware that this could be a possibility, so we are all on a level playing field in that regards, and nobody will be held accountable.

There's just a little bit of work behind the scenes with any new entries that I would like to get sorted sooner rather than later, given it's Friday and the Men's Open SF are on today.

2021= J Clayton wins his first individual televised title at The Masters
2022= J Cullen wins his first individual televised title at the Masters
2023= ?

Is 2023 the time for Chizzy? A six time losing finalist with his most recent defeat at the 2022 staging of the Masters in the final against Joe Cullen. Another of his six losses occurred at the 2016 staging against Michael Van Gerwen.

Averages in all events since 1st October 2022:
1st= M Van Gerwen 101.24
2nd= D Chisnall 99.42

180’s per leg since 1st October 2022=
1st= D Chisnall 0.44

Results at televised events since 1/10/22:
European Championship: Lost 7-10 to Dobey in the Quarter Final (98.74 vs 104.63)

Grand Slam= Eliminated in Round Robin stage. Averaged 100+ in 2 of his three matches with Barney and Price progressing from his group.

Players Championship= Lost 4-6 to Scott Williams in the second round (102.56 avg vs Scott’s 93.04)

World Championship= Third round exit 2-4 to Stephen Bunting (101.82 vs 102.24)

I missed that points (10-1) were awarded each round, I thought it was at the end of the tournament only. Didn't read that properly. Oh well, still would have likely chosen the same team anyway. :)

They are just a tally and will change each day. It's just what you currently sit on.

They aren't added. Swings and roundabouts of 10-1

You can be a bit bold in team selection if you find yourself in the 1 position. Thats the aim. I can't lose any ground from here😂

I'd probably have 2 different blues in that case but they are locked in.
