Hedging the Smith and Van Gerwen matchup to receive at least two points for a Semi Finalist and hopefully three or five points if one makes the final. Clayton will join them and receives the captaincy duties first up.

PREMIER LEAGUE NIGHT 1​

Chris Dobey wins night 1 on his PL debut, making it 8 straight wins after his Masters title last weekend. Dobey took out 160 to beat MvG 6-5. He also took out the only big fish (170) of the night in the final.
Amazingly tonights table topper @Rowsus was the only player to have his captain advance beyond the QF stage, although Wright owners got a little bit of meat on their bone compared to those opting for Smith, Price and Clayton.

Dobey digs @Professor out of the hole on night 1 to ensure he still leads the competition. 6 participants move into double figures, but in a 16 week round-robin there are bound to be swings and roundabouts. I wouldn't be too stressed if you didn't have a good night, and equally the opposite applies to those that did well on night 1.

Right play imo. For the most part, I personally think the hedge is better suited outside the last 8 format...unless of course defending, which I think is far too early to worry about in the competition.

Gerwyn Price wins night 2 in Cardiff with a 6-3 final win over Nathan Aspinall, the form player of the night. It was still only enough for Price to finish 4th on our points table as the big guns fired on the peripheral count, but nonetheless it was finally some winning form for the "Iceman" after a lean few months where the ear defenders have come out :ROFLMAO:
@Ironhawk nearly picked the night's ultimate team, only a captain shift away. The Banker the next closest to move into the 10 point position in this leg of the competition.

@Professor still leads from @tso. Both still close enough in this leg to add to their points standings, but they do have a few on their hammer. @Rowsus replaces @blue dreamer on the podium this week. Still 6 participants in double figures.

The new points standings continues to show the swings on offer. @Ironhawk moving from 2 to 6 on the back of his night.
