Zorko is a watch for me, if he's fit I like his drawer as he plays Melb, Collingwood, Adelaide and Fremantle twice all of which he looks to have a good record against.
He will be tempting but I can't help but think of Deledio and Brad Johnson at the end of their careers when they had what were seemingly very similar issues to what Zorko had last year, just keeps coming back and limiting them. Hopefully not but it scares me. Definitely has huge scoring history though and if he's fit will be a very interesting prospect.

Had to look up his starting price... $350k (!)
Seems like a lot has to go right for that to work.

Are people excited about the 140 in R23 last year? The 2 50s in the games immediately before seem like a massive red flag.
I'm excited about the possibility of a very friendly supercoach role. Definite watch.

I watched him a couple of times, didn't get a real crack at it and was moved to HBF late and looked very comfortable. I won't end up with him but I think he has a lot of scope for improvement in that role.

Heard Mark Duffield (well known WA sports journo) talk about WCE this am :-

For those still keen on Chesser, very unlikely to see him in the early part of the season/ club taking a slow build approach with him so looms as a downgrade target.

Noah Long (117k fwd/mid) is really impressing, could be a round 1 smokey.

Ginbey is almost certain to debut round 1, looks very much part of the best 22 already.

I don't get the Ben Long pick at all. If he was 200k then yes but he averaged 72 playing that role for a whole season in 2020, he averaged 57 in his games played there in 2021 and he averaged 74 last year if you exclude the 20 where he played there for 3 quarters or 66 with that score.

Basically needs a 95 average to make enough cash which would end up as a keeper but that's a pretty huge expectation from a guy who has averaged 68 from his 25 games playing as a HB over the last 3 seasons.

I'd say that all the evidence supports him averaging maybe 80 next year and that would be a strong result. Especially given both Powell and Budarick should be back fairly early in the season.

Maybe he can do it but there's just no evidence of it, imo.

He played most of last season forward IIRC and had limited game time - looked like he was out favour with the coach, kid can play, watched him play juniors with St Mary's up here as a junior.

Takes a bit t mature and settle, I think he'll do alright up at the GC, like I said somewhere else, price is a concern, little high I agree. If you say no than I guess it's a no

Yup, I'm a little afraid even though he still went 106 in that role/split to end.

Wines, Drew, Rozee, Butters, Boak and JHF. JHF may get the time Boak spent last year and Boak could see the Amon and Gray splits now they aren't there.
Do worry its gonna be a run of 110s then hes gonna randomly be starved of CBA's and drop 50s, the fact that a third of the comp and most serious players are picking him reduces the risk profile though.

21% for Coniglio, 36% for Rozee and 50% for Taranto.
Reckon Cogs goes up significantly by the end of the pre season, can have question marks over a couple of the other forwards but reallly hell play inside mid where he dominates, feels very low risk and is actually a bit of value there from getting Cameron'd early in 2022.
