Thoughts on this Antonio Brown situation developing? I’ve only skimmed but I believe he recently tweeted ‘trade me’ and also didn’t show up to training/meeting on Monday.
AB's tweet was in response to a former Steelers' staff member's comments:
"AB needs to thank his lucky stars, because he was drafted by a team that had Ben. And Ben got AB paid. You know darn well he wouldn't put up those numbers for other teams."
I don't think it was a serious request.
But it should be noted that the Steeler's do have a new offensive co-ordinator so the game plan is likely to be different to previous years. It may mean that AB has a slightly different role. Not less targets - he has 33 in his first 2 games this year vs an average of 11.6 per game in 2017 - but perhaps less red zone targets? The Steelers had 3 short-yardage TDs this week and none went to AB.

Good oil as always Rupert. I did some digging, here are the leading WR red zone targets from a couple of different sources and formats. It seems JSS is the go to main at Pittsburgh at the moment, noting he had all 8 of his red zone targets in week 2.

First image is from Pro Football Reference and second is from Lineups.

Ok scrap that idea. Might look at Enunwa instead, which probably makes more sense or hold fire altogether... clock's ticking!

How much cash do you have on hand?

I think your WRs look set both on the ground and the bench. If you can do something at RB to ensure you don't go backwards, that would be a positive move.

I ended up going Allen to Enunwa which is not looking fantastic at the moment. I expected this one to be a low scoring game so was probably better off starting Robinson ?

Second trade will be Johnson to Gurley so I’ve got a perma captain and don’t have to worry about looping through the wee hours of the morning.

Not the worst result......................I kind of like Breida, he should make some quick coin.

Gurley C, Mahomes is due to throw a pick or two.

So did I. I forgot completely that there was a game today - I was thinking it was tomorrow.
But I don't mind. I had gone back to my first thoughts: Rodgers->Mahomes and D Johnson->Gurley. The latest reports on Rodgers' knee are a worry.
As for the "c": I think it's a toss-up.
I'm going with Mahomes rather than Gurley. Yes, Mahomes may throw a pick (or two) but last week he was 23-28 and after two away games the Chiefs are at home.
Also, Gurley sat out the 4th qtr last week with cramps. So if the Rams are leading easily he might not play a full game. The again, if he can score 61 in three qtrs does he need to play four?

Welcome aboard, Verbal! We're currently rocking the number 1 and 3 leagues, so we must be doing something right with our mix of long term players and rookies.

Thanks for the warm welcome! 1st and 3rd leagues - awesome work!

I'm in a cash league (well, group). I bit silly to sign up with no knowledge but I thought I could just throw stats/analytics at it and read a whole heap of stuff on the internet. I've made a lucky start to be honest... 9th overall. Just looking to hang on and not make too many mistakes from here. I have no expectations to be challenging but it would be nice to win a few bucks haha

Great start mate. Myself and another member on here were top 10 after week 1, unfortunately that lasted a week and were in the 50s now iirc

How many are in your cash group? Entry?

Nice. Is is based on overall results only or league results as well? That’s a pretty handy prize pool for a lesser followed sport.

Yeah, not bad at all. We had 20 interested but some didnt get in in time.

It is just based on who finishes highest overall. Total points not head to head.
