TY ... Waller would get my preferred option done .... just got to monitor his shoulder status ...
Assuming he's fit for RD1 he's a lock for my TE3 as it allows the Atlanta Falcons as my DST instead of 1 of San Francisco/Oakland.

I liked Swaim (JAX) until he was injured in his first pre-season game.
But I also like Waller if he plays. The wraps on him have been huge.
If your prepared to spend a bit more there is Hockenson at $3.8m. Detroit took him at #8 in the draft after he averaged 15.5yds per catch in college last year.
Didn't spend large in the position last year and it worked wonders and am assured of doing the same this season. D Waller, D Walker, H Henry all seem like great value options in conjunction with rookies such as Hockenson and potentially V McDonald from the Steelers due to their departures.

Pretty much summed up all my choices for TE in one post !!

The arrival of O Beckham Jr (OBJ) should be beneficial for B Mayfield increasing his avg for the upcoming season and completion percentage/touchdowns. Holds the NFL record for the most touchdowns for a rookie quarterback recording 27 last season superseding the record previously held by Peyton Manning and Russell Wilson at 26. Started in 13 games last season for an avg of 37 and a post bye avg of 39.17 from 6.

Last 2 seasons have been affected by injury with an ACL suffered in December 2017 and a back injury near the end of the previous season meaning Wentz has only managed 24 of a possible 32 games. Several of these haven't been as the starter due to Nick Foles but he has now departed to the Jacksonville Jaguars which should be beneficial for Wentz's performance.

Jackson set the NFL single-season record in 2018 for rushing attempts by a quarterback with 147 despite only starting as Baltimore's starting quarterback from RD11 onwards. Since the bye and receiving his starting position he managed to record an avg of 37.57 from 7 matches with all scores above 30 in comparison to an avg of 6.13 from 8 before the bye as a non starter. His penchant and ability for rushing increases his floor making him a great value proposition assuming he continues on with his form from the 2nd half of the previous season.

This completes the series for the Quarterbacks unless anyone requests a player that has not been previewed. Next will be the Running Backs which I will likely start posting this weekend.

Also links are provided below for sites that provide QB rankings but be aware that US fantasy football is draft centric and a different scoring system.

Great value but I think teams will figure out how to play him as they did with some of the other run first QB’s in their second year. He can’t really throw that well and it’s apparently not that common to see accuracy improve drastically from college and year one.

But at that price you can't go too wrong.

Worried about the above but hopefully will only have a quick stay to allow a quick upgrade to Rodgers or Mahomes. Also he will likely be the 1st one out if a great RB or WR rookie batch emerge before RD1.

With his running ability you're pretty set for decent scores and a price rise. I think Jacobs, Miles Sanders and Montgomery all look like good picks.

Only problem is fitting all 3 in as I likely won’t budge on starting 4 running backs consisting of 1 of A Kamara/S Barkley/C McCaffrey, with L Bell and 2 of D Johnson, L Fournette and D Freeman.

That's a sound strategy given how well they will score but I thought I could get more points from a rookie running back and a wide receiver than a rookie wide receiver and a running back, I'm still fairly new to all of this.

I go for Atlanta and I can say that Freeman is pretty underpriced, but I will say that our O-line isn't what it was when he was at his best.

fwiw I prefer to start with no rookie WRs or TEs as they usually tend to take a year or two to start performing. On the other hand, rookie RBs can impact from the start so I'm happy to load up on them.
atm I have:
QB - Mahones, Mayfield + Murray
RB - McCaffrey, Ingram + Jacobs, Montgomery, Sanders and Ballage
WR - Adams, Hill, Hopkins,OBJ + DJ Moore, Pettis, M V-S and Kirk
TEs- Henry, Walker and McDonald
K - Pineiro + Wright
DST - NY Giants + Cincinatti

Some great pods in the above lineup (Mahomes, Ingram, Hill, etc). Once the rookie WR’s situation becomes clearer that will allow you to change 2 of the last 4 WR’s to a rookie and J Jones/M Thomas/Ju Ju.

Also regarding McDonald: https://www.dkpittsburghsports.com/2019/08/22/steelers-vance-mcdonald-playing-time-fdl/

No PODs intended actually. I've picked according to two criteria: the clear best - Mahones, the WRs; the underpriced - Ingram, the TEs and rookies.
I'm not totally sold on Ingram, Hill or McDonald so they could become D Johnson, J Jones and Waller/Hockenson.
[I did see that article on McDonald, thank you.]
I'll probably not decide until the last minute.
