Titch will no if he doesn't perform this week he'll be out of favour again. I'm expecting a big one.

Will Bartel play AFL or VFL? “Jimmy’s been in full training for couple of weeks … more likely we bring him straight back in (to AFL). #Scott

So Crouch out for 8 weeks they reckon. If he doesn't play a game this year what's a ball park figure price for next year?
Av 94.5 in 2014. I believe its a 30% discount for 0 games played.
Ps. Anyone got the time to write down the formula to work this out so I dont have to bug you all with the same question on different players.

No offence BC, but I am not sure what people see in BCrouch - yes, he is supposed to be a gun, but I have seen no proof that he can stay on the park.

I think you're right mate, but it's hard to believe Brad Crouch will be 350k. He'd be a lock considering the form he was in pre-season this year. I've held him all year in my cash draft league, not the news I wanted to hear. :(

Fair call mate each to there own.
I've seen the potential in him and think he can take it to the next level but as you identified, he has to stay on the park to do this.

BRAD Crouch’s football season of torment is close to being wiped out.

And fellow Crows midfielder Rory Sloane’s part in Adelaide’s challenging second half to the AFL home-and-away series will be minimised by the injury jinx at West Lakes.

The well-known black cat curse at Adelaide has:

CROUCH to miss the next eight weeks with the hope rest — rather than surgery — will repair a stress point in his left foot.

SLOANE to miss the next six weeks after surgery to repair a re-fracture of a cheekbone that previously cost him three games.

Poor Brad Crouch. But from a supercoach perspective, 2016 seems like an interesting prospect if he can overcome his injuries. $508k right now.

Here's the write up from the afl site on big Rough. Scary stuff!

Roughead out indefinitely after cancer removed

STAR Hawthorn forward Jarryd Roughead is out of football indefinitely after being admitted to hospital to have a melanoma removed from his lip.

It is understood Roughead underwent the procedure on Wednesday night after test results from a lesion on his lip returned positive for melanoma.

In a statement on its website the Hawks said Roughead would miss Friday night's crunch game against Collingwood and a timeline for his return was yet to be determined.

Hawthorn football operations manager Chris ***an said on Thursday the 28-year-old was in good spirits despite the scare.

"He sent a photo around of himself last night with a bit of a thumbs up," ***an told Fairfax Media.

"Obviously when these things happen it's a bit worrying, but he handled the whole thing well and has had good support around him from family, friends and the footy club."

The Melanoma Institute of Australia website says the cancer is the third most common form of cancer in Australia, with more than 12,5000 new cases diagnosed each year.

Melanoma is the most common cancer found in Australians aged 15 to 39.

It's all happening...this could be a developing story as well!

Bulldogs punish Liberatore for missing club appointments

THE future of Western Bulldogs best and fairest Tom Liberatore is at flashpoint after another club sanction, stemming from a multi-day period of partying.

Liberatore, who suffered a season-ending ACL injury during the NAB Challenge, was due to head to Europe with non-Bulldogs friends.

However, the club intervened after he missed compulsory club appointments, a result of excessive socialising three weeks ago.

On Wednesday night, Channel Nine revealed the Bulldogs instead diverted him to Thailand, a country it feels can better accommodate his rehabilitation for the knee injury.

It isn’t the first time Liberatore has found trouble for off-field indiscretions.

In 2012, he was given an AFL strike and a four-match club imposed ban after being found in possession of an illicit substance.

The 23-year-old was this year added to the leadership group and in May signed a contract extension, tying him to the club to the end of 2018.

Liberatore was the League’s No.1 tackler and clearance player last season.

When Liberatore signed his contract extension, Bulldogs list manager Jason McCartney praised the midfielder's work ethic and competitiveness.

"Tom is an incredibly talented young player, and is such a crucial part of our midfield and team in general," McCartney said.

"What we're most encouraged by however, is that we believe Tom ... can take his game to new heights with his work-ethic, ultra-competitive nature and general ability."

Liberatore has played 77 matches for the club his father, Tony, represented on 283 occasions.

Bugger traded Roughy in last week. Hope the big rough is all well and good. I'm guessing it won't just be the 1 week? Indefinant makes it sound like 3+

Ronny Lerner also thought that Raines had a great game on Sunday. Wouldn't believe him even if he predicted tomorrow to be Friday.
