Commentators said he has been carrying a shoulder injury for weeks. He played through it, just few tackles could see him clearly grimacing in pain. Hopefully they hold off any surgery until the end of the year.
That would have an impact on his scoring though

highly unlikely they will wait until the end of the season. normally they request the player to have surgery asap so that their pre-season is not delayed. if he has been carrying out for a few weeks, I am assuming he wont need surgery and the ultrasound/mri hasn't showed up any tears.

He still had 25 touches on the weekend. Scored 89. So if he had of been more effective with his disposal he still would of scored over 100 with the sore shoulder. As Adrenaline said, with them no chance of finals he would already of been put in for surgery if he needed it. So hopefully no tears. And no tears for those that have him and no trades.

Under-fire Sydney Swans big man Kurt Tippett could miss up to three weeks of football after breaking his hand during the second quarter of his side's 89-point loss to Hawthorn on Saturday night.

Opposition clubs could have been more understanding of Sydne'y COLA given the huge COTA (T is for Tippett) basically covers the fee.

I'd rather Jenkins over Tippett if I was a Crows fan. Apart from his physical attributes what does he possess that is better than average?

Stephen Coniglio can accept $1000, rough conduct on G Ablett. Ted Richards can accept 1 game, rough conduct on S Mitchell.

Only 1 week is staggering, I think Sydney would have accepted this before Patrick Keane finished the rest of his tweets with all the fines!

Staggering is spot on... Can't believe that's worth only 1 week.

As I've said many times before the swans are a protected species. If you compare what suspensions they get with other teams for similar offences. Even buddy gets slaps on the wrist for things he'd get 3 or 4 weeks for playing at the hawks.

That is exactly right, very much a protected species up there.

To be fair, Sydney did spend 2hours with their pants pulled down in front of 35,000 on Saturday night. Surely punishment enough?

Nothing official but Larkins described it as a 'high hammy' which apparently means 4+ weeks. Deep sigh.
Thanks mate. I have been putting off Hodge all season in fear he is going to have a week off but I think it must nearly be time to bring him in.
