Never posted my final team here, but it has been in the NTL topic for a few weeks. Bold were in my starting team.

D: Lloyd, Hurn, Laird, Ryan, Stewart, Duursma (Clark, Naish)

M: Fyfe, Cripps, Neale, Bontempelli, B. Crouch, Pendlebury, Walsh, D. Clarke (Hately, Scott, Rowbottom)

R: Gawn, Grundy (Fort)

F: Dangerfield, Marshall, T. Kelly, R. Gray, De Goey, Cameron (Balta, Gardner)

Pretty poor team, ended up a few short of what I wanted. Struggling to even field a full team, so league finals (if I sneak in) won't be pretty.

DEF: Lloyd, Whitfield, Hurn, Laird, Stewart, Sicily (Burgess, Naish)
MID: Macrae, Fyfe, Neale, Oliver, Treloar, Cripps, Sloane, Gaff (Clarke, Baker, Hind)
RUC: Grundy, Gawn (Clarke)
FWD: Dunkley, Dangerfield, Marshall, Boak, Kelly, Mundy (Young, Bines)

Side was technically finished in Round 17, however Coniglio going down meant that an additional trade was required, so I went Coniglio to Treloar. Reasonably happy overall, sitting nicely at 367 and hoping to maybe push top 200 to get a career best finish. Needing a bit of a lift out of the likes of Laird, Sicily, Sloane, Gaff, Kelly and Mundy, was good to see Mundy and Gaff producing on the weekend after plenty of 80's between them since coming into my side as POD picks. Side has come a long way since Round 1 when I started with Darcy Moore and 7 DEF rookies. Dunkley started in my side, was traded out and thankfully traded back in, Whitfield obviously wasn't in my side but has been traded in and out and back in again. Probably could've saved 3-4 trades between those two had I had a bit of luck injury wise and been foreseen Bevo actually playing Dunkley consistently where he should always be, in the guts. Whilst I missed Marshall's bubble, getting him at $460K after his bye when his score against Gawn had gone through his cycle was one of my best trades of the year, would hate to think what my ranking would be if I hadn't traded him in (hasn't gone below 116). Cover is shaky on lines other than the MIDs, although Zac Clarke should be back from illness hopefully. Relying on the likes of Fyfe and Hurn to get through the season for me with their niggles. Bring on the remainder of the season.

D: Lloyd, Whitfield, Hurn, Newman, Sicily, Ryan... ( Duursma, Clark )
M: Macrae, J.Kelly, Neale, Cripps, Yeo, Gaff, Cunnington, Hunter... ( Setterfield, Atkins, Scott )
R: Grundy, Gawn... (Clarke)
F: Dunkley, Dangerfield, Marshall, Lycett, Boak, T.Kelly... ( Westhoff, Burgess)

Feel like I've learnt a lot this year to take into next year ( including to keep my ignorant mouth shut on this amazing Forum ).

Should now be ready to challenge for a top 10 slot next year :p:ROFLMAO::LOL: :)

My completed team is a bit of a failure but I think it's too late to change that now
Highlighted players were in my starting team.

DEF: Lloyd, Hurn, Stewart, Houli, Ryan, Andrews (Answerth, Gardner)
MID: Macrae, Fyfe, Neale, Oliver, Cripps, Sloane, M.Crouch, Gaff (D.Clarke, O.Baker, Langlands)
RUCK: Gawn, Goldy (Bines)
FOR: Dunkley, Danger, Marshall, Boak, Heeney, T.Kelly (Chol, Young)

Never had - Grundy or ROB.
Traded OUT - Whitfield, Williams, Darling, Rockliff, Jelly, Steele, Daniel.

Round 1 ranking was 64,348.
Solid bye rounds saw me move to around 20k in the rankings.
Currently ranked 15-17k for the last few weeks.

Hopefully I can get more into the footy next season and take Supercoach seriously like I have in the past.

No trades left so this is my official completed team:

DEF: Lloyd, Whitfield, Hurn, Z Williams, Laird, B Smith (Logue, Naish)
MID: Neale, Macrae, Fyfe, Cripps, Oliver, Treloar, M Crouch, Rockliff (Clarke, Answerth, Baker)
RUC: Grundy, Goldstein (Bines)
FWD: Dangerfield, Boak, Kelly, Heeney, Cameron, Worpel (Parker, Gardner)

On field team is reasonable but no Dunkley or Marshall up forward is disappointing.

Obviously Gawn is the preferred ruck partner for Grundy although Goldstein has been excellent since I’ve traded him in averaging 135 during that time.

Nervous times with just Parker as coverage up forward especially while he’s in the two’s.

Final completed team:
DEF: Lloyd, Whitfield, Williams, Sicily, Smith, Duursma (Andrews, Gardner)
MID: Neale, Macrae, Fyfe, Jelly, Cripps, Oliver, Sloane, Brouch (Clarke, Langlands, Bewley)
RUC: Grundy, Gawn (Bines)
FWD: Danger, Boak, Telly, Lycett, Cameron, Worpel (Chol, Young)

$26,800 leftover.

Plenty of coverage on all lines as ive mentioned before, however not great coverage. Like Ben also mentioned I haven't got Marshall or Dunkley either. Which could and will probably prove costly in the last 5 weeks. The best I can do is cheer against those two.

Looking forward to the Big Bash Season! (And the next 5 weeks of misery)

Team is finally complete as of this week. Have just gone ROB + Hately -> Gawn + Langlands, just in time for finals. I'm left with 3 trades + 29k for injury cover/luxury trades at the pointy end of finals. Am hoping Cameron finishes strong!

Thanks mate. Not a lot in the way of cover for DEF or FWDs, got lucky with Burgess on the weekend covering Hurn.
It has been good to see Mundy and Gaff start producing more of what I expected when I traded them in, in the end Mundy over Lycett the week Gawn was out seems like a decent move, even if Zac Clarke spudded it as cover that week in the RUCs.

An alternative to upgrading Sicily is upgrading Westhoff to a D6 with Sicily moving to D7 as cover/loopholing option, Answerth to M10 and Cameron to F7. I guess it depends who you can afford to get with the Rockliff, Sicily, Crouch or Westhoff funds.

Thought my team was complete a few weeks ago but then Jelly and Ryan got injured. Haven't pulled the trigger yet but the team above assumes I go Ryan to Whitfield this week which will leave me with one trade and $44k in the bank. Have playing cover (this week at least) on all lines apart from Rucks but only one DPP link (J.Cameron (m/f) on my mid bench).

Forward line is the weakest (IMO), Boak and Marshall the big misses there.

Thanks for reply and looking at my team, but prefer to have m/f link and westhoff is my fwd ruck cover which I prefer to have just in case.
