Dissapointing final round to drop 6 spots and finish 21st (was 115th when the competition restarted so happy with my Round 8-11 comeback)

Jadeja , Rabada , Narine , Samson "contributing" 40 points between them didn't help.

Only finished 911 points behind @Jim's Dim Sims so lots of work to do to win this competition one year , congrats on the win.

Fantastic effort by everyone to come #1 League , hopefully you all return for next year.

Be interesting with 2 new teams whether they have divisions.

Fell 15 rankings to 129 overall in my 1st year playing IPL. I must say I had no idea at the start, thanks to @Herbie66 for his recommendations and obviously everyone else in our league. I will say 1 thing, can't remember exactly, but, the last round in India before being called off stuffed me up big time as I was primed to strike. Anyway that was then. Need to bring the IPL to Australia to align with my sleeping pattern. Congrats to @Jim's Dim Sims for winning, awesome effort.
Hopefully you enjoyed it , now know some different players and return to play next season.

Well done

This is quite a striking stat, thanks for highlighting.

I would like to think that I consider players on equal footing, but this suggests I maybe need to give the local players even more consideration. JS is a big advantage (albeit that many of the internationals changed over with the resumption, whereas the locals probably didn’t).

Certainly some familiar names/performers and some rapidly emerging "lesser known" local players.

Obviously the other thing is to look at averages , especially those that appeared later in the season when given opportunity , guys like V Iyer & Mavi jump out to me and Axar & Nortje.

Back to India again next year (hopefully for the whole competition) make up of starting XI's change again even from home to away.

My basic thinking is that outside of the 4 OS players , most teams have 3-4 worthy local players to consider and then the remaining 3 players.

Mind you guys like Gaikwad , Paddikal , Jaiswal , Bharat etc etc are developing rapidly.

Be quite interesting next season with 2 new teams and the mega auction happening , which players move where and perhaps get more opportunities.

Who captains the 2 new teams ?

CSK will be interesting if Dhoni finishes up which way they go.

RAJ are completely different if Archer , Buttler & Stoked all return.

Abhishek could become very interesting at SRH

Still staggers me the quality of OS players teams have that basically sit on the bench for the season or get to only play 1-3 games.

I guess in Fantasy though the main focus is to play the fixtures and follow the DGR players , not necessarily have the best "end" team ASAP unlike AFL/NRL SC.

Thanks everyone. I didn't know for sure but I was quietly confident once Holder took those junk time wickets that I'd be hard to catch but yes didn't know until I woke up. Thanks everyone for your support and updates and for getting me into the comp in the first place. Fair amount of luck involved in this fantasy cricket stuff. I initially selected Thakur thinking he was a chance to add with the bat but he hardly faced a ball and was still one of the highest scorers in 2 DGW rounds. Overall it has been a very fun comp and thanks to everyone for their involvement.

Also has anyone on here won prizes from these guys before and if so how long did they take to get in contact?
I got promoted to second a few seasons ago and got a email from them a week or so after the comp closed from memory asking for my Bank Details.

I thought I was getting scammed initially but they then advised me (when I asked why) those above were overseas entrants and therefore ineligible to win any prize money.

I somehow managed to take out a weekly prize of $100 in their NRL competition last season. Received an email the next day from a Vapormedia representative requesting my EFT details, in which they listed that it could take around two to three weeks until I received the funds. Took just shy of a month to receive the prizemoney.

Refer to Section 13 of the Game Rules section for an expected wait time for confirmation of your victory.

Section 18 might also be of interest to read over.

Very consistent finish over the last three rounds :ROFLMAO: but not enough to hold onto a cash or top 5 position. Kudos to Jim’s Dim Sims on a magnificent season, as well as all participants in our SCS IPL league, ensuring SCS occupy their rightful spot amongst the rankings, which we so often have a way of managing.

Once again, thank you Sir Ravindra Jadeja.
