Monster score for Rd 6. Good to see 2MP on board. Best game I've seen him play.

Maximum score achievable up to round 7 is 19,137 (avg 2734) and compares to the current leader who has 16,107 (avg 2288).

Note that I am little surprised that Dunkley retained his spot (albeit on bench) and Anthony Scott traded out given the price differential. I will do some checks on the model to ensure there are no errors.

Why do I get the feeling that Jones will be another 1 and done (as captain)?

Looks like the cash from Dunkley wasn't needed to get the best possible trade ins this week and either him or Scott could have been traded.

Not sure I can do this every week however given I quote the perfect team score against the current leader I thought it would be interesting to see what the current leader has done so far.

Looks like they have had a good run with long term injuries, only copping Danger and Dunkley. That would be nice to have happen, I've had 4 long term, and two extra short term injuries (I am ignoring the multiple dud selections which are my fault).

Maximum score achievable up to round 8 is 21,757 (avg 2720) and compares to the current leader who has 18,469 (avg 2309).

Points of note
  • Callum Mills, Jack Macrae, Cam Guthrie, Sam Walsh have been required on field every round.
  • Max Gawn no longer features at all.
  • Aiden Fyfe and Bigoa Nyuon are the only players who are yet to play however are DPP and have both had to switch position.

Maximum score achievable up to round 12 is 32,540 (avg 2712) and compares to the current leader who has 27,465 (avg 2289).

Note the solve time this week blew out to over 9 hours from about 2 hours last week. That does seem a bit strange but could be to do with the extra constraints associated with the bye rounds. I will try to keep posting the update each week however it does become more difficult the deeper into the season we get due to the solve time.

Maximum score achievable up to round 14 is 37,432 (avg 2674) and compares to the current leader who has 31,245 (avg 2232).
  • Lachie Neale makes a first appearance for the year and is joined by 3 rather unusual forward trade ins.
  • Bont only player to have his score used every week he has played.
  • Macrae was traded out in R13.
Looking forward to next week when the full allocation of 32 trades will be reached (31 so far) which means the perfect team will no longer be able to use the full compliment of trades each week. We didn't really get to that position for long last year. It will be interesting to see which weeks don't use all the trades.

Note that I made some mods this week to get the model to solve quicker. Looking at previous weeks all players who appear in the perfect team fall into 1 of the 2 following categories.
  1. Have at least one score of 80 points or more
  2. Are a DPP player with a starting price of $123.9K or lower.
Therefore in this version I have only considered players that fall into those groups. In theory this means there could be a higher score which required a player who doesn't fit either of those 2 criteria however I think it would be highly unlikely.

31 trades used. I think that after a few more rounds it will be keeping the likes of Macrae instead of going sideways for the byes.

Look at Aliir and Cumming! Keeper defs ftw
