Almost forgot to do any trades. So far behind I just decided to pick a bunch of the least popular Croatia and Morocco players (the two underdogs) and hope for something weird to happen.
I was only able to manage 10 on field anyway (4 per team plus Messi and Mbappe - had 1 from both Morocco and Croatia already). Not expecting a good score, but who knows. At least my team should be reasonably unique

Can't find a French defender that looks appealing.
If I bring in Giroud & Rabiot (to add to Mbappe) seems kinda silly to bring in Moroccan defenders
Have Ziyech already , need a mid 🍩 to get Modric's score
oops can only play 3-4-3 as it is so will only use 5 trades this round (will just bench a random French defender as the 6th trade)

SICK FRANCE STARS IN ‘SERIOUS DOUBT’
France coach Didier Deschamps is facing a pair of major selection headaches, with a flu-like illness spreading through the squad in Qatar.
According to The Sun, midfielder Adrien Rabiot and defender Dayot Upamecano both missed France’s final training session (Tuesday, local time) before the match.
The paper reports the duo are “serious doubts” for the match, with Upamecano missing a Monday training session as well as the Tuesday preparation.
