I have had a look and it seems that I didn't fill down a formula properly on the spreadsheet and no score is recorded for the 8th listed defender for everyone. In your case it's Coleman - instead of his 99, you were given your 17th best score, 53 from Daicos. I'll fix it up a bit later tonight, thanks for checking, as it's not something I would have identified myself.

Who would of thought to consider byes in team selection back before team selections were submitted? Did I consider such a thought in the weighing up of future options? I’m A FRAYED KNOT and that seems like how my team has performed… all frayed on the edges and not sustaining any substance!
Would it of made any difference?
If it did I would probably forget to consider before next year’s selections are done anyway.

Byes shouldn't play a big part (or any) in your initial team selection. As you have either 1 or 2 players from every team, in each bye round you will have anywhere from 18 to 24 players (minus any injured/not selected). It's the last bit you need to avoid - copping too many players who don't play. Most of those who did worse through the byes had less playing, either due to bad luck or bad team selections.

I was a bit surprised I did so well through the byes overall, based on my overall position, got lucky I guess.
