Round 9 Results:

@Couch Coach hits the double, taking out the best weekly score and increasing the lead in the overall comp. Well done.

This round also saw the first club to have selected all of their mid priced players throughout the season: Fantasia who was the unused sub for Port in Rd 9 was the last of their 20 mid priced players to get a game this year. All other clubs have 1-7 players yet to get a game, only 53 of the eligible 419 players are yet to get a game (accounting for 15 selections in total).

I haven't looked at this for a while so thought an update was well overdue.

Max score achievable in this comp up to round 9 is 17,487 (avg 1,943) which compares to Couch Coach who currently has 16,263 (avg 1,807). All players in this team have provided at least 1 counting score so this team is now pretty realistic.

If you started this team and fielded everything as above in the main comp, you would be in 565th overall with a score of 20,913. You would have copped 3 donuts so far, but you would still have all 35 trades. Strong base to work from, and able to make max trades every round from here on.

Not bad with all the restrictions in this comp, but of course it is easy to do in hindsight compared to reality. I didn't expect you could get such a competitive team.

Very interesting and kind of depressing at the same time.

I am aware the score in my table are a point out for some teams. This is because the scores published on footy wire for last week was a point out for Nick Blakey (and also Callum Mills). This is the first time I have seen that site with inaccuracies in the 10 years I have been using it. I was going to post an updated table but left it too long and can't update that post now.
