Thanks for all the kind words, folks.
I am happy with my season overall.
@ pizza safety congrat.s on 4th; @ Bermi commiserations on your wk.18 slide but congrat,s on your season overall;
Also congrat.s to our group as a whole: 12 in the top 125; 14-team leagues: 2nd - SCS NFL; 10-team leagues: 2nd - SCS NFL 8; 3rd - SCS NFL 10' 4th - SCS NFL 12

I did wonder at times if I was over-sharing.
Basically, when I was ranked #7 overall after the wk.5 games I decided I would do my best to explain my thought processes.
There were three reasons for this:
first, I knew that trying to write down my reasoning in a way that others could understand it would force a clarity on my thinking that would help me in my decision making
second, I was looking for any criticisms/suggestions others might provide
third, I hoped it might help others with their decision making.
I am happy to hear that it did.
You were not over sharing, very helpful. I was wondering though, by writing your planned player moves and strategy, that you were actually helping the team that eventually won the Comp. 🤔

Yes, the SCS NFL Teams did very well and @KLo30 did a great job on organizing it all. Also, I liked his timely reminders that appeared here throughout the season.

Maybe.
If so, I hope they read this and thank me accordingly.:)

Thought this Chargers/Jags game would be a close one. Not really unfortunately. 17-0 before quarter time. Lawrence with 3 INT's in the first quarter. Ekeler 2 TD's.

Purdey has done it again.
The last pick in the 2022 draft, Mr Irrelevant, the lowest drafted QB to start a play-off game has now won all six of his starts.
His stat.s in his first play-off game are impressive: 19/30 - 332yds - 3 TDs - 0 Int; 4 carries - 16 yds - 1 TD.
His passer rating of 131.5 is one any play-off QB would be happy with but for a 6-start first play-off QB?
Sure, he's on a good team with a good coach but it's arguable that he's doing better than either Lance or Garoppolo would have done.

@Ironhawk
I hope you're still watching.
Jags now only 2 points down with 5.25 left.
And with no time remaining they win it on a 36yd FG

Just watched the Vikings - Giants game. Not surprised as a Vikings supporter. They lost momentum at the end of the season. Nice way of saying they would play finals and people were expecting them to do well, which means the pressure would be on. Next year will be huge. They must do better in the mental game but I think they have the right coach to do it. And yes they did win a number of tight games coming from behind but the pressure is not that bad when you are in a tough spot and winning is unlikely. That is when Cousins is at his best.

Very solid start from all, with Pitts and Lamb the only players in single figures. A few 50-50 decisions I ended on the wrong side of in Pitts over Ertz and Sutton over Thomas but nothing too large yet. Without double checking, this could be the first season I have started without Mahomes and he reminded me how foolish the decision was. :ROFLMAO:

As for trades, C Lamb sits at the top of the list for trade out candidates but have yet to have an in depth look at replacements.

Struggled with injuries, a few poor trades and too many holes to fix. Congratulations once again got hose that finished high in the rankings or achieved personal bests and thanks once again for those willing to offer assistance to myself or others as this has been greatly appreciated. Looking forward to another great season later this year.

Geez, the Bills are really wasting a SB window with a dominant QB, keep failing at divisional or Conference round of finals. When you have a QB of Allens calibre, you need to get scores on board or its decades in the wilderness
I tend to agree but it's hard to win a SB and often it's not the good QBs that are responsible.
Rodgers has only won one - mostly because he's rarely had a decent defence.
Mahomes is into the Conference game for the 5th straight year, consudered by many to be the best QB over that time, and won one.
According to the Around the NFL guys Brady's best years, the years the NE offence was tops, they didn't win the SB.
I reckon winning the SB is especially hard this year. Each of the top teams has a quality offence and defence and only SF doesn't have a quality QB.
But Purdy has been performing as a quality QB snd thpe rest of SF is so ggod it may not matter: good coaching, quality in the rest of the offence and a good ststem.

Pity the 49ers.
To lose their 3rd string QB in their first drive of the game was bad enough but to then lose their #4 to a concussion in their first drive of the second half was enough to make comitted fans despair.
They may not have won the game anyway but to run out of fit QBs, to have all 4 of your QBs injured ..
The fates definitely had it in for them.

I think - although I may be wrong - that if Philly win the SB then Hurts will be the first genuine dual-threat QB to do so.
Sure, SBs have been won by QBs who can rush but they were more pass first QBs: most notably Young with SF and Russ with Seattle.
But none of the really genuine dual-threat QBs have been successful: Randall Cunningham, Michael Vick and Cam Newton being the best known.

Yes, that is correct.

Sean Payton to be new coach of Denver. Lazarus won't have anything on him if he can turn Russell Wilson around.
Wasn't it Jesus that healed Lazarus?

Anyhow, I assume at least he'll be willing to tell Russell Wilson what he should do.
