Keep two of Fyfe, Johnson, Sheldrick, Mitchell.. for the bench.

Rest of on field team:
D: Dawson, Daicos, Stewart, Sinclair, Lloyd, Day
M: Bont, Laird, Merrett, Neale, Anderson, Green, Walsh, Libba/Trac
R: Marshall, Briggs
F: Dunkley, Taranto, Macrae, Gulden, Rozzee, Sheezel

I can keep 3 of them if I go Mills or Cripps instead of Libba (who I’m leaning over Trac based on ownership).

Sheldrick and Mitchell. Prefer Libba to Mills/Cripps.
Can we rank these in order, need 1 to finish my side
Houston v Doc v Ridley v Keays v Walsh
Ridley, Keays, Houston, Doc, Walsh.

...pretty close to the opposite order to what I would have expected at the start of the season.

Houston or Walsh are the top 2 for mine, but for difference reasons. Houston I think has the ceiling to give you some great scores, but has volatility and could give you a stinker. Walsh I don't think goes massive on any given week, but will be safely in the 90-120 range most weeks and I can make a case for him to go 110 in the run home with just a few small things coming together.

Docherty I think comes in next, as you know what you get and his form atm is good. has elements of risk, and I think his role "could" fluctuate as the season winds down and Carlton's finals hope dwindle, but good player with runs on the board.

Ridley/Keays I have as equal last, as while they are both scoring well at the moment and the role seems there, both have been victims of horrendous role changes and if that happens they become genuinely bad picks. I think the other 3 are at worst averge picks but have upside, where as with Ridley/Keays you are getting the max upside already and there is a strong risk of a reversion.

Probably Walsh,Keays,Ridley,Doch,Houston I look at it with the view of what they will do from here though, Walsh will come good and as long as Keays and Ridley keep the role the sky is the limit.

Appreciate all the replies and thoughts!
Mixed bag of reviews which explains why I asked the question :D

I did have Houston 1st with Walsh 2nd
Houston's run looks great to finish the year and Walsh is to good to not return to form, but think its more so related to the blues more than Walsh.

Trac with 2 trades or Libba with 1
In your scenario I understand you're at the pointy end of the rankings and good luck
It looks like 15/20 people ahead of you have Trac, 572 points to catch 1st place
Libba is probably the POD you need and betting against Trac with Clarry hopefully due to return soon may reduce Trac's scoring
I'd say be brave & take Libba + the extra trade.

Not playing for first tbh too far back and his team is too good, playing to get lucky and win a grand, but the point is still valid, I'm about 90% set on going Libba as its a POD move and no guts no glory when you get into this sort of rank but gauging outside opinion through the week always helps.

You can rank that pool of players any way mate, back your gut on the pick you like the most and run with it.
