Trac with 2 trades or Libba with 1
My dilemma right now. Picking between Tracc and Libba. In your situation, it's probably worth scouring the 20 or so people ahead of you to see who's got Tracca and who has Libba and where your other points of difference might be.

Player-wise, I'm a bit torn. Tracca has youth and durability on his side, but he's a clanger machine and a bad game this week puts him at 600k. He's also safety in numbers for the top 1%.

Libba is on the right side of 30, loves a hard contest and generally racks up the points. His run home also looks nice. There's a lot of mouths to feed on that Dogs team but it doesn't look like it has stopped him. I'm finding negative reasons to pick him but I'm coming up short.

Feel like it really hinges on having extra trade cover, so in your case, I'd stick with Trac and have the injury/sideways trade for the last few rounds.

I dont think the difference between Trac and Libba is substantial enough to warrant using an extra trade to have the cash, rarher have a slightly worse scorer perhaps but bank a trade for impending carnage. 3 trades for 9 rounds the bare minimum dont want to go down to 2.

Hoping Trac is spent at some point from having to carry a midfield for half the season, Libba has alot more even of a spread and should in theory run out the year fresher but doesnt always work like that lol.

Team A vs Team B

Context: Just looking for the best team for league finals.

Team A.
Option A.png

Out: Humphrey & Ford
In: Butters & Dewar

Pros: Strengthens forward line & swings Sheezel forward to play on field. Keeps Oliver? Dewar in allows Sheezel to cover a defender injury with Maric covering the forwards :)sick:).

Cons: Maric & Chesser the only bench cover across the side. Keeps Oliver?

Team B.
Option B.png
Out: Oliver & Ford
In: Walsh & Keays

Pros: Gets Oliver out of the team? Sets the team up for mid coverage as next week can trade out Humphrey, swing Sheezel forward, Chesser back & grab Mills as mid coverage. Means coverage across each line is Chesser (Backs), Mills (Mids) & Maric (Fwds).

Cons: The aforementioned plan gets me down to 2 injury trades. Is Keays a lock to maintain his role?

Libba, can't see the difference between the two justifying an extra trade at your rank.
Steele V Cripps.

Leaning to Steele as the Saints have a good run to the finals.?
Cripps. He seems to have flat spots mid season then recover. Steele is playing injured and as a recent owner, has not done well with it.

B, but mostly looking shorter term, if Oliver misses a couple, that cover is awful. If you are a lock for finals, might be worth keeping Oliver.

I'm 50/50 to play finals. The teams I'm playing don't look complete yet & they'll be running with at least 1 rookie on field themselves for the next few weeks anyway.

Whoops. I think I misread your initial post. I thought you were down to two trades with Trac, one with Libba. I understand what you meant now, so I'd pick Libba.

Extra trade in your pocket, less "heat" on him than being the sole gun midfielder (other than Viney I guess) until Oliver comes back, and I think he does the intangibles better. Their run homes are pretty similar too. Nets you about an extra $40k for a sideways/injury trade too which is always handy. Also, a bigger POD.

It is probably a closer choice then. I guess with A you can sideways trade to an extent if needed, but depends how confident you are. I think it's the higher scoring team with a fit Oliver.

I think you can probably do better than either. Would prefer a few others such as Macrae, Brayshaw or Parish in that range, but not sure who you already have. Serong ahead of Anderson if I had to pick one of those two.
Agree with both components of this.

Yeo going down and needing to be rectified means I can't afford my preferred final mid upgrade of Libba
Sinclair & Walsh v Ryan & Treloar
