I kept Sicily for 3 weeks and waited for his... 58? SMitch's worst was a 55. Was a blessing in disguise to have him instead of Sicily.
But the SMitch luck ran out and his MIA meant I had only 21 this week.
2406 looking like a relatively good score this week. Hopefully my 3 premiums and a few more decent backups are back next week.
Looks like more carnage next week with some highly owned players already doubtful. What a game.

Thought it was supposed to be chaos round and people are still pumping out 2400-2500's (and still not satisfied)

Laird great, irrelevant. Daicos and Dawson good, also irrelevant. Brayshaw solid, only relevant player along with Libba who has gone well. Rozee and Stewart around par, both irrelevant. Ridley not great, could’ve been worse considering how bad the Bombers went. At least he played. Then we have the incredible performances from the Crows game. Briggs bad, good second half, utter disaster of a first half. Himmelberg doesn’t record a clanger after getting around 7-8 a game lately. Along with 88%DE, you’d think he’d score well, WRONG. Yes, he didn’t get a CP, but I find it insane how he scored so low. Him and Trac must’ve done something to CD during the week. Thought he played pretty well really, role still there, taking the kick ins. Pegging him at a 70 average from here if CD continue this hatred. Keays poor, role was better. Not full CBA’s but he attended some at least this week. Couldn’t really get near it and that late OOTF hurt. Merrett still can’t handle a tag, terrible score. Sinclair and Marshall disgusting aswell. All these 3 are only slightly relevant.
Horror week. Barely copped any carnage during the week (only Lloyd, DCam and Titch) so was expecting a rank jump. Now expecting a mammoth rank drop. Same story as last week, the PODs don’t score. It’s sooooo frustrating because they all score 20-30 below par and it just stacks up. If my season wasn’t over last week, it well and truly is now.
To top it off I had $418k to spend on a FWD or DEF. Cut it down to 3 options. Hawkins, Richards and Thomas. Richards 125, Hawkins 127, and I pick Thomas… he’s got a lot to do. Also had Flanders in consideration, but didn’t think he’d get the mid time. Another 125 points gone begging there.

Good to see Taranto back in the points, albeit against WC. Sheezel good in the end. Huge first half before Maginness went to him. Got a bit of junk late to notch up the ton. Thomas poor. 50+ point losses on alternatives Hawkins and Richards. Had Maginness on him for the first 1 and a half qtrs before moving onto Sheezel. 40 point second quarter. 31 in the other 3. At least he was playing mid/fwd this week(usually scores better there than HB). Hewett disappointing. Had a few moments where he looked like he was about to do something special, but didn’t. Bailey Williams wasn’t great in the ruck today which affects Hewett’s work at stoppages.
With Maric actually playing in the end (and doing ok) and Ziebell coming on early (didn’t score too well though) it turns out my carnage was only slightly better than most.
I’m actually pretty happy with my team, but the PODs aren’t firing. Hopefully it all clicks and I start getting some green arrows again.
