878 last week had me drop 5 spots from 128th to 133rd.
The main blunders were my trade in X v Y of Zubac (84) + Mathurin (60) or Sengun (145) + Carrington (69) where I chose the former and lost 70 points, and the captaincy choice of Sabonis (91) over SGA (161) which once again cost me 70 points. Captaincy was just a roll of the dice as is usually the case, you win some you lose some, can't be too hard on yourself. The trade in decision was with a look to the future with Mathurin having a much better schedule than Carrington, and Zubac having an extra 4-game week. And already this week after just 1 game Zubac + Mathurin has outscored Sengun + Carrington 56 to 29.
This week I boosted again:
SGA > McCain
Sabonis > Giannis
Coulibaly > F.Wagner
Sarr > Siakam
SGA must trade with 2 games. Sabonis I'd love to keep with a good upcoming schedule, but you can't hold on with the injury. Coulibaly injured too but was gone anyway after average scoring and a bad schedule, Sarr in a similar boat. McCain has been excellent and basically the only shining light for my Sixers this year. Huge without Maxey and has easily shown enough to get decent minutes when he does return from injury. Giannis looked like the far and away best captaincy option so came in as a 1-week rental. But... he decided to put up a stinker to start off
. Wagner for some Magic exposure with a good schedule and increased role without Banchero. Needed someone to fill the PF2 slot and Siakam looked the best option to me.
Knew Edey was out but I'm okay with him riding the bench with a lot of cash still to be made potentially. Won't be required on field with Zubac likely being flipped to Jokic after Round 6.
Good start so far with 253 from 10 SI. Very consistent across the board and all the trade ins performing well bar Giannis. 8/9 on a 4 with Cunningham on a 3.
