I would think that the more players entered from the one club, the more chances they'd have at attaining the highest score, kinda makes sense :)
Just means we have to be better next year mate!
Pre season I was number one 🤣 like every other year! Can’t get better than that! 🤣
Injury free players is the mantra!

Who will ever forget the thrilling finish to 2023 SCS One-eyed Club Challenge which saw a draw in the Grand Final between Collingwood and Essendon who had @Axewell (Magpies) and @ScottishBomber (Bombers) tie at the top of the SCS group on a massive 2835 points. The premiership was awarded to Collingwood on countback as it had the next highest scoring supporter with @Lgndhen23 on 2777 versus @Tyson12 on 2760 and therefore joined the prestigious honour role below.

Honour Role
2020 Essendon
2021 Carlton
2022 Hawthorn
2023 Collingwood

The SCS One-Eyed Club Challenge is back for a 5th season where each member has the opportunity to be acknowledged as the highest scores amongst their supporter group and then represent their club against the other clubs in pursuit of the 2024 SCS One-Eyed Club Challenge Premiership.

If you would like to participate you just need to join the SCS Official Group (League 950850) and then post your team name in this thread.

Round 1

After a summer of soul searching after missing the finals last year the Roos have had a big pre-season and have started with a vengeance with @Beg2Differ topping the group and leading them to a big first up win over GWS by 115 points despite the best efforts of @Spifflicator.

Collingwood have got their SCSOECC premiership defence off to a much better started than the on-field equivalent with @kadog ranking second in the group and getting the better of @wogitalia and Sydney by 118 points.

Third ranked was @Tails representing Port Adelaide and guiding them to a narrow win over @Miller is a Steele and West Coast by just 26 points.

Hawthorn got over Essendon in the close one thanks to @Dazza outlasting @Old Big 'Ead by just 3 points.

Richmond defeated Carlton with @Dustman getting up by 39 points over @Blue Bloods.

Fremantle got off to a flyer beating Brisbane by 54 points thanks to @N29 getting the better of @teamcustard.

Geelong started well with @Cookie2711 getting over St Kilda and @Demolished by 15 points.

Melbourne started with a win over the Western Bulldogs by just 10 points with the reps here being @NDD and @Zim^zuM.

@writeoff defeated by @Erich1036 by 20 points allowing Adelaide to get the victory over Gold Coast.

Note that given the 4 round zero games I will have to adjust the fixture slightly in this comp otherwise those 8 teams will be a game short. This week is easy as the 2 bye teams played one another in round zero however that isn't always the case going forward. I am not sure how I deal with that yet.

The Roo boys are on a mission this year and have franked their round 1 form with a 2nd consecutive group topping performance. This week @ChrisCross led the Kangas to the top of the ladder with a 225 point victory over Fremantle despite the best efforts of @Nothing.

Collingwood were 2nd in the group also for a second consecutive week with @simonoz getting the better of @Demolished and the Saints by 100 points.

Third ranked were West Coast who got their first win for the year thanks to @mvdi defeating @The Misfit and GWS by 151 points.

Western Bulldogs said goodbye to Owen with a victory over Gold Coast by 148 points. The reps here were @Crocodiles and @FlatTrackBully.

Essendon opened their account with a win over Sydney in a tight contest with @pizza safety outlasting @Kennedy by 26 points.

Carlton defeated Brisbane in the battle of the byes by 49 points with @Johnsy44 outpointing @teamcustard.

Adelaide moved into the top 4 thanks to @Drew's victory over Geelong and @Loboda1963 by 71 points.

Richmond also keep a clean slate with a victory of Port Adelaide by 93 points. The protagonists here were @TigerTime and @Spiny Norman.

Melbourne edged past the Hawks by just 4 points in the tight one with @NDD pipping @Dazza.

Top of the group this week was shared between @Athomas from Carlton & @froffershanners from Essendon. @Athomas put a pin in the North Melbourne Good Friday balloon to bring their hot start to an end by inflicting a 77 point defeat on former ladder leaders represented by @Beg2Differ. @froffershanners took care of the Saints and @wolfbunny by 44 points.

Third ranked was Fremantle with @N29 leading them to a 20 point victory over Adelaide and @Pesci001.

Melbourne remained undefeated and moved into 3rd place thanks to @frostylane's 30 points victory over Port Adelaide and @BigRuss.

Hawthorn beat Geelong by 32 points with @HawksForever getting over @waynes.

Defending champion Collingwood ascended to top spot with a 44 point win over Brisbane with joint top scorers @aj74 and @corkah87 getting the better of @Foxy's Fe-Lions.

Richmond move to 2nd with @TigerTime guiding them to victory over Sydney and @Kennedy by 47 points.

@Miller is a Steele helped West Coast to a 57 point win over @warewolves and the Western Bulldogs.

It was a thriller in the battle of the bye teams with @Spifflicator just outlasting @FlatTrackBully by 2 points to open GWS's account for the season.

Note that I have looked at the fixture for this comp to deal with the 4 round zero games and have decided to keep it simple and just have the 2 bye teams match up for the early byes. This does create some anomalies however no worse than probably exists anyway. To avoid those anomalies, it would have required a lot of match up changes for the upcoming early bye rounds and I didn't want to change it that much from the actual AFL fixture.

Bottom of the table baby!!
Not wanting to give @Beg2Differ any more work,
but it could be interesting to see how each AFL Team fared, if the scoring was based on each of the AFL Team's average scores from their SC Teams, for each round.
So, it doesn't matter how many SC Teams each AFL Side has, as the SC Teams average score counts to decide the winner of each match.
I hope that makes sense.

Top scorer in the group this round was @Chumpion who led Essendon to a 117 point defeat of Port Adelaide despite the best efforts of @Connoisseur. The bombers actually had the top 2 in the group with @bomberboy coming in 2nd.

St Kilda finally broke their duck thanks to @Kat stepping up to give the Saints 2nd rank for the week and a win over Richmond and @TigerTime by 63 points.

Third ranked was Collingwood who consolidated top spot with a narrow 13 points win over the Hawks. The protagonists here were @corkah87 and @sven_inc.

Melbourne also remain undefeated and move up to 2nd place with @Ricky Bobby outlasting @Hondo and Adelaide by just 6 points.

Geelong stay in touch with the 8 thanks to @Cat Attack Man getting them the win over @warewolves and the Doggies by 47 points.

North Melbourne puts last week's little speed bump behind them to prevail over Brisbane by 22 points and move up to 3rd. @LED49 and @Foxy's Fe-Lions were the reps in this match up.

GWS got the better of the Gold Coast to sweep the double header thanks to @Spifflicator outpointing @Erich1036 by 49 points.

The close one was fought out between Carlton and Fremantle and in fact it was so close that @mutleyblue and @Jurn Stern couldn't be split and played out a draw. Apparently there was late scaling by CD in that match up that created some controversy.

It was another thriller in the final game where @Paully fell over the line by a single point against @Kennedy with West Coast denying Sydney their first points of the season by the narrowest of margins.
